Okay. A lot more personal.

This is my mother. Her name is Linda. This photo was taken when she graduated from university in Taipei, Taiwan, way back in the mid to late 60s, and she's the most important person in my life - and she's starting to lose her memories.

#AlzheimersDementia is one of the worst degenerative diseases anyone can go through. It's tough on so many levels - for my mom, as well as for myself and my brother, and everyone in between. We all saw the signs, but it wasn't until six months into 2020 that she no longer could live by herself due to COVID causing seniors to be even more isolated than usual.

But why am I telling you this? Simple. She is my why. She is the reason I started Sage Gems Jewellery Co.

I started this company so I could help take care of my mom during this difficult part of her journey. I know her decline is inevitable, but I want to spend as much time with her as I can, creating new memories while she's still with us. My jewelry collections are often inspired by vintage designs. They evoke a sense of a time she remembers fondly, yet are updated for everyday wear. When you support Sage Gems Jewellery Co., you're not just buying beautiful pieces, you're helping me be there for the woman who was always there for me.

So, thank you. I am grateful for every single person who has supported my business. Your kindness and generosity mean more to me than words can express.
