Introducing the Findlays!
Such a special day between two very special people. Overwhelmed with gratitude to be able to witness, coordinate and capture their big day. Not to mention, the incredible location @downing_mountain_retreat. Huge thank you to everyone who helped make this day happen with moving pieces, plan changes, and bumpy roads. These two are some of the most kind, genuine, and fun people I’ve ever met. Two wonderful families joined together by true love. Thank you @_jackiedelaney_ and Dylan for letting me be a part of it all.

Kyle + Jess | What an honor to be asked to shoot my brother’s proposal. Not to mention, he’s marrying one of my best friends. Missing this intense sunshine! ☀️ Throwback to April. Spent the day sailing the Belizean coast on a catamaran, soaking in the sun, the salt, and the kind of stillness you only find on the water. Grateful for moments like these that remind me how small I am in the best way. Fishewear kept all of comfortable and sun-safe all day long—saved us from frying in the super intense sun!!! Life has called us to take a huge leap of faith. A few weeks ago Lukas and I packed up everything and made the move to Montana—not just for its breathtaking landscapes, but for the chance to build a life filled with purpose and passion.

Leaving Oregon wasn’t easy; it the only home I’ve ever know. But something in us knew it was time to chase new dreams, embrace the unknown, and build a life that feels as wild and beautiful as the mountains that surround us.

This move is about finding clarity, creating new opportunities, and living boldly. Taking risks, starting fresh, and trusting the process. Quitting our jobs, selling a bunch of our stuff and starting in a place where we know no one. I’ve never been good with uncertainty but it’s terrifying and wonderful and feels so right. In all the chaos, on the water still brings me back to center and stillness.

A gratitude post for my 4Runner, the Black Pearl. She’s carried us through desert roads with swarms of grasshoppers, moose ridden swamps, and grizzly territory. She’s helped celebrate the end of nursing school, and brought friends from different states together. Summer would be so different if we didn’t have her and the pop up tent. There’s something about being able to drive into the middle of nowhere. Unzip, open up, and climb in. I’m so grateful she keeps on trucking and for the memories yet to come.

Sunday fishing with my pops! Even though it was 35°, raining at times, and the wind blew us hard enough to drag our anchors, I wouldn’t change a thing. Some of the most difficult fish to land I’ve ever seen, which is why there’s no fish in these pictures lol. Worth the memories anyways. 💕#fishing #fishewear #fishe by @sageymac
