December 18th, was The International Migrants Day since 1990, and I’ve been an immigrant since 2018.
Migrants are considered the biggest examples of making the impossible possible. How do I feel as immigrant?
I’ve never regretted the whole experiences I’ve had by living in 3 countries, Cyprus, Colombia and Oman and being a digital nomad for almost a year and a half. All I’ve gone through, all the ups and downs, tears, happiness have made who I am today, but still I’m not settled because my heart, my soul is somewhere else. A part of me always feels she has missed many things, family, watching my niece grew up, my friends getting married, my hometown turns into four seasons, and many more.

Somewhere I call it HOME, Iran, one of the most beautiful, diverse countries with its tremendous history is in battle, battle against the devil, to get its identity back.
And it will. It will be free and we all celebrate the victory. To freedom 🕊

A gentle reminder:

someone, somewhere is living their happiest moment
while someone else is carrying their heaviest sorrow;
that is the nature of life, seasons change, roles reverse, and every emotion finds each of us in time,
so do not feel left behind by another person’s joy;
celebrate their light while trusting your own path,
and remember that if you are in a hard season right now, it is only a wave, and the tide always turns.

One of those moments when you simply stop, watch, and let the island do the talking.
