Still not really sure how to put this trip into words! 🇳🇴

Vanlife through the Lofoten Islands was one of those experiences I’ll be talking about forever. Insanely beautiful places, an amazing group of people, and so many memories!

@josefinearwhem was the BEST group leader, and @fridaoutdoor did an amazing job helping her along the way. Y’all made this trip what it was 🤍 thank you!

I met so many awesome people, laughed my ass off, and saw some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. Unexpectedly this trip ended up changing my life a little more than I thought it would!

@lordmontie thank you for taking a chance and inviting me on this crazy adventure! Kinda wild to think about everything that came from one invitation! 😘

Catching up on some overdue travel posts! Greece was an unexpected adventure..you just have to say yes to life sometimes! 🇬🇷 You really never know what’s waiting around the corner.

Life is bringing me back to Greece again soon for Odyssey Fest! ⛵️ beyond excited for that!!

I came to Italy to celebrate my 35th birthday and wow... 🇮🇹

The trip was absolutely incredible, but this group of humans made it unforgettable. So many laughs, beautiful places, and memories I’ll keep forever. I love you all!

My Subaru looks normal, until I attach the hatch tent…then it transforms into whatever this weird little creature is. 🤭🚙🏕️

I don’t think it’s winning any beauty contests, but I kind of love my Fanttik hatch tent! It’s nice being able to get out of bed and immediately stand up in the tent. If it’s raining, @blue.eye.mika can still stretch her legs and has her own little space to hang out.

After spending 7 years living aboard sailboats, I’m figuring out a completely different way to travel. I’m not trying to build some hardcore overland rig…yet. I just want a functional base camp that introduces me to this way of living, and takes me past my comfort zone!

Still on the wishlist:

🛰️ Starlink Mini
☀️ Roof rack awning

❄️ Maybe a real fridge

Guess it’s time for a little catch up! 👋🏻

A lot has changed since I was last posting! For now I’m trading anchorages for trailheads and dirt roads.

I have the freedom to start saying yes to all the things that have been sitting on my mental bucket list for years.

No clue where it’ll lead, but I’ve stopped feeling like I need to know.

Introducing my girl MIKA🐶 !!

When I first went to see Mika, I didn’t really have a plan. I thought “let me just go see her, and figure out if we click…” She wasn’t in the worst living conditions but not the best either. Her swollen belly was worm ridden, she was in a small cage filled with 6 other puppies in the sun, and she was so meek and timid, unsure if I was going to be one of the nice humans or not. There was no way I was leaving her there! She came home and it was clear she had never seen a dog toy and never had the room to stretch her legs. It’s been the most rewarding thing to watch her personality blossom. Mika is the perfect name for my meek, loving baby. 🐾

My previous fur babies, Kuda and Nori, would have loved her. She adds a curve ball to cruising the islands, but she is 100% worth the hassle of pet import paperwork. I mean look at that face 🩵🤎🥹

Home for the holidays, Atlanta edition 🍑🎄
We spent Christmas and New Year’s with Brooke’s family in Atlanta. Great food, late night puzzles, cuddles with the pups, and an impromptu karaoke session made this trip very relaxing. So restful we’re both now completely restless and ready to make moves 🙃

The Venezuela situation tried to throw a curveball on the way back south, but after some cancelled flights, we’re moving again! Joe made it to SXM yesterday, and I’m airport-bound to Grenada now ⛵️
