One year ago today, we said goodbye to our sweet dog, Roscoe. ❤️

Making the decision to let him go was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do. But we were able to give him a peaceful goodbye at home, in the place where he had grown up and spent most of his 18 years.
I wasn’t ready to tell everyone when he died. It took me a few months to be able to post about him bc it was just too hard…

But something unexpected happened the day after he died. I had a songwriting zoom scheduled with some amazing co-writers (Gail Silverman, Ceri Earle & Mario Bringas) who had no idea I had just lost Roscoe. The zoom was already planned, and I couldn’t bring myself to cancel or even tell them, knowing I would just cry the entire time. And somehow, without my co-writers knowing what had happened, we wrote THIS song. Like the song needed to be written.

So today, one year after saying goodbye to my boy, I’m releasing this song in his honor.

Run, baby, run. ❤️

“Letting You Go” is out now everywhere.

For Roscoe. 🐾

P.S. This song may have been born from saying goodbye to Roscoe, but it’s for anyone who has ever had to say goodbye to someone they love. ❤️ by @sailorgal

ATTENTION BOOK LOVERS:

If you like 2000s era rom-com films, you’ll love my debut novel GOOD LOVE about a journalist who goes undercover at a popular dating app to prove love only happens in the movies (Spoiler: she may be wrong 😉).

It’s laugh-out-loud funny, has great characters, and witty banter. It gives How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days/ You’ve Got Mail vibes…

And it’s finally available on audiobook!!! You can experience it on Audible or free with Spotify Premium.

It’s narrated by the amazing Monica Young @sailorgal

💘Dare I say it’s almost better in audiobook form?! It really accentuates the romcom feel 💘

#goodlove #romcom #cupid CHECK IT OUT, you’ll love it!! 💖💖💖💖💖 @goodlovenovel by @sailorgal

Ladies Night with the women of sync. ✨
Nothing beats meeting new faces, reconnecting with familiar ones, and building real community. At @bluebuddhaent, we’re not just sync agents representing incredible indie artists for film, TV, commercials, and games we’re artists too.

@sailorgal and I both started in sync as artists, so we understand the creative journey and the business behind it. That perspective shapes how we advocate for every artist we represent.

We’re proving that collaboration isn’t just powerful it’s how the next generation of music leaders is built.
