Hi for those who don’t know me, my name is Anthony! I just wanted to come on here to share how I got into doing hair. It all started back when I used to play Barbies with my sister. My favorite thing about it was doing their hair and dressing them up, but never would I have thought I’d be doing this in real life! Growing up my, sister was always in a competitive cheer so that passion and love for hair only continued to grow when I started helping my sister get ready for her cheer competitions and even before school. I would experiment sometimes by putting in rollers and bows and styling her hair before we left almost anywhere! My sister and I might have grown out of playing with Barbies, but she actually became my real life doll. People began recognizing that I did my sister’s hair and they always loved how it was done. Most of the moms even started to pay me to do both their and their daughters’ hair. As time went on, I joined choir in middle school and was almost always doing everyone’s hair including my choir teacher! It was a dream come true. Once I promoted eighth grade, I went to high school and my passion and skills continued to grow as I began doing hair for school dances and choir competitions. Many of those people are still my clients today ! If you’re still reading this, thank you. I just wanted to share a little bit of how I got started and where my passion began. I wanna continue to thank all the people that supported me on this journey and all my past present and future clients. This is only the beginning for me.
