I had to the opportunity to redesign Miles Morales for his 10th year anniversary and I wanted to switch it up and give him a different silhouette. I saw a few images circulating so I'm posting the a page of poses. I'll post more angles soon:) I know people love their favorite characters and Twitter sure let me know that earlier today but I hope you guys stick around! I have more. He has a full mask underneath and the rest of a a jump suit with more webs like the legs. It’s not a half mask. My inspiration was how cold my neck gets in the winter wind so I designed this tech sweater with a matte black as an extra layer. His shoes have special soles. His suit is not pink it’s just pink lighting (surprised I had to specify that actually). I’ll keep finessing the shapes but I saw the article on IGN and I wanted to share. The last couple drawings are an earlier unused version I did that was just too busy and complex for comic interiors but I attached it here anyway. All feedback is cool just keep it respectful please. I’m not trying to censor anyone’s opinion and I listen to the feedback for the future. I’m going to have a limited supply of prints at the @lightboxexpo next weekend! Come by booth #318 and holla at me. These will be a nice size at 22”x 22” and priced at $60 each! Last winter I was able to contribute to the lineup of Spider-Man 60th anniversary covers set to drop soon! I just saw that mine will be Avengers Forever #9! I was asked to do an homage of one of legendary Todd McFarlands classic covers of Spider-Man vs Venom. I find homage covers to be restrictive but it was fun. I opted to keep the colors muted and also no tongue on Venom to honor the original. In the original, it seems like Venom is bursting through crates as Spider-Man and him crash through a warehouse wall. A few years ago @sean_gantka captured an amazing moment of @jakecastorena , @rhza9 ,@roboticmarble and I as we were in awe at the Legend @larrytoons54 stack of traditional X-men traditional storyboards (most inked!) from the OG series, along with boards from other series, such as the classic Fantastic Four animated series and others.
