Ep.014 @leaderqlty x @sweetchicklife This was the second installment of the Leader and Sweet chick collaboration. I had the opportunity to lead the branding and design aspect of this project from window display, signage, and merch. The theme of this year’s collaboration was spades. We held a spades tournament and block party right outside and we had the block shutdown. Ep.013 Carhartt season For a long time I wanted to create something with the iconic Carhartt brand. I was one of many kids rocking my oversized action jackets in high school. Since those days Carhartt has been apart of my life in some way. With this project I wanted to share some of my design progress. Starting with a random thought, to being inspired by the real world and elements around me. Taking those real elements and creating something that can exist in the real world. I took about a week designing the first camouflage ideas and I really didn’t like how that came out. I was on a walk around the neighborhood with my son and noticed all the different trees. From there, I took some photos of the trees, brought them to my computer and ended up with the final results. I started this project because 1) I love the brand and 2) to get @carhartt attention so they can hire me 😂. @ben_ewy I’m ready when you are 👀. taken in Detroit, Michigan by @saintchristopher__
