It's a big day ! Solium Records release a selection of unpublished tracks by Subversive Boy and on this occasion reveals his true identity.
Link: https://t-solium.bandcamp.com/album/no-mercy-for-the-bastards
Subversive Boy was born from a taste for provocation, performance, and boundary-breaking music.
From 2003 to 2013, this masked figure made a name with explosive live sets and his Subversive Show, hosting anonymous battles with artists like DJ Daisy, Nôze, Ark, and DJ Zebra—broadcast live on mediagong.com. He lit up stages from Transmusicales de Rennes to London’s Cargo, always refusing to repeat himself: each track was usually played only once.
Today, the man behind the mask reveals himself as Rolando Torres Martin—multidisciplinary artist and music journalist—who continues to create as TЯRS (with a debut album on Adventurous Music) and in the duo Saintes.Glaces with singer-composer Lidwine.
Subversive Boy’s music—acid, techno, jungle, hardcore, electro—remains wild, energetic, and free of labels. With No Mercy For The Bastards, his sound resonates once more: a furious, danceable commitment to freedom.
Subversive Boy is dead. Long live Subversive Boy!

No Mercy For The Bastards unearths a selection of tracks salvaged from old hard drives, capturing fragments of Subversive Boy’s singular energy—productions often performed live just once. Industrial, synthetic, and relentlessly danceable, the album fuses heavy drums, acid synths, distorted samples, and even metallic textures, guiding the listener through tension, chaos, and euphoria. Each track is a portal into Subversive Boy’s anarchic mind, ending on a note that reminds us he’s always about making people move—freely and without compromise.

T Я R S
I N NE R -DA N C E
Released on @adventurousmusic.bandcamp.com

Multidisciplinary artist and music journalist, one half of the duo Saintes.Glaces alongside his
partner, singer-songwriter Lidwine, Rolando Torres Martin arrives under the pseudonym
TЯRS with Inner Dance, a debut album that reawakens the forgotten dancefloors of the
underground.
A best-kept secret of the French electronic scene for many years, under the mysterious alias
of Subversive Boy, whose identity he has finally decided to reveal, and whose album of
unreleased and corrosive tracks is due for release in November on the Solium label, TЯRS
mixes genres, explodes boundaries, crossing ethnographic music and electronic production,
tinged with deviant experimentation, all shaken by sophisticated rhythms and singular
grooves.
Inner Dance pierces the spine and hits the cortex hard, imprinting its colors in the depths of
your pelvis. An album that plunges your body into dance.

Proud to collaborate under my moniker TЯRS with Substak and Lauré Lussier on this awesome compilation @adventurous.music

The state of today’s society can be described as critical. Once again, we are separating from each other instead of working together to create a world that provides a decent life for everyone.

To set an example, we invited artists to reach out to a fellow artist from another country or even another continent to collaborate on a sound piece.

We are very happy to be able to present you this amazing collection of collaborative works today.

You can find links to all involved artists in the digital booklet included in the download.

All possible proceeds will be donated to Amnesty International. by @saintes.glaces
