Guest speaker Mr. Anthony Filorimo, Senior Vice President, M&T Bank, joined us yesterday to share invaluable business experience on banking with students in our Financial Literacy Summer Enrichment Course, taught by Mr. Stephen Fahy this July. Not only did Mr. Filorimo share his own career trajectory in the banking industry over the past 30 years, but he also spoke on the inner workings of how banks navigate the economy. Grand & Warren is abuzz with activity all summer long as Prep students take advantage of the robust offerings on campus to explore new topics, to strengthen the past year's learnings, and to prepare for the new year ahead. by @saintpetersprep

As is tradition, Prep's Higher Achievement Program competed in the HAP Games, a friendly series of athletic competitions with Xavier High School's HAP program. Today, a group of HAP students traveled to compete at Xavier, while Prep hosted chess, soccer, and dodgeball on our campus.♟️⚽🤾 We congratulate everyone on games well played and look forward to Round 2 next week! by @saintpetersprep

Last month, Prep students traveled abroad to Taiwan through our Office of Global Initiatives. 🌏 The experience featured Mandarin Language Courses at Fu Jen Catholic University, the Jesuit University in Taipei. Prep also connected with students from Saint Ignatius High School in Taipei for an excursion, toured the city, took classes in calligraphy and seal carving, saw natural landmarks around Taipei, visited an environmental protection station run by a Buddhist organization, performed community service related to the environment, and even attended a pro baseball game! by @saintpetersprep

Summer Enrichment Courses allow Prep students to expand on the year's learnings, explore special interests, get a head start on the year ahead, and more! 🌊 Yesterday, Mr. D'Aiuto's, '15 Physics class capped off their unit on kinematics, free fall, and projectile motion with a lab in our courtyard using water guns. By shooting water horizontally and vertically from a measured height, students were able to use kinematics equations to determine the average initial velocity and predict where the stream would land. by @saintpetersprep

Saint Peter’s Prep ✈️ Los Angeles, CAPrep students once again visited Dolores Mission in Los Angeles, California as part of this year's summer immersion trips with @prepcampusministry. We thank Mr. Malcolm Merritt, '14 and Mr. Patrick Rooney, '21 for answering the call to serve as chaperones.For years, Prep has traveled across the country (and sometimes beyond) to join in solidarity with a variety of communities. These trips build community among our students and between our students and the people they encounter through their service, in keeping with our Jesuit mission of forging men for and with others. by @saintpetersprep

The 2026 Brazilian Exchange visited Rio de Janeiro last month and spent time with our partner school Colegio Santo Inácio @colegiosantoinaciorj Prep students had an amazing time living with their host families and learning about Brazilian history and culture. They even took Portuguese classes! Among their impactful experiences were serving food at a soup kitchen alongside their peers; helping the 5th graders in their English classes; visiting important sites to learn more about the history of the slave trade in Brazil; and visiting sites that highlighted the impact of African culture on Brazil, like the birthplace of samba.Prep is the only Jesuit school in NJ, but it is one of nearly 850 Jesuit primary and secondary schools throughout the world. Our Office of Global Initiatives allows our students to become truly global citizens through annual exchange programs and more! by @saintpetersprep
