You’ll never see this part. You’ll just walk into a home where everything works, and never know how close it came to not.

Taj Mahal. The marble showers:

Three bathrooms, three cabin showers, each one wrapped entirely in marble. Indirect lighting, and brass details on the doors to bring warmth into all that stone.

The kind of space that slows your heart rate down; where you meet the most elevated version of yourself.

There’s a whole side of this job that would never make it onto a Pinterest board. Spreadsheets, technical drawings, endless revisions, site visits spent solving problems and directing every detail on the ground. It’s not beautiful. But it’s the reason the beautiful part works.

Nothing excites me more than a trip to the stone yard.

Rows and rows of marble slabs, each one completely unique. Choosing stone in person is nothing like picking it from a catalog. You have to read the veining, follow the movement, imagine how a single slab will live across a whole room. It’s part science, part instinct, and entirely my favorite part of the process.

This is where a project quietly begins. Long before anyone sees the finished room, someone has to stand here and choose.
