Big ups to @dyl_thomas_pang for the art/design by @saintsurly

2023 marks 10 years since my good friend Monster Monster and I released 'On the off Chance'. To mark the occasion you can now stream it on Spotify.

To make it, we decided to experiment and produce the material completely free of sequences/midi programming/tempos inc/quantizing/etc. We played samplers and instruments free hand and live. Extended jams were tracked, then pruned down, embellished, and generally pored over.

As a result, the record is inherently loose rhythmically, juxtaposed with carefully tweaked tones and production techniques.

The DIY philosophy was carried right through the project, with Monster Monster on mastering duties, and Saint Surly designing and hand screen printing each
and every cover.

I hope folks can give this a spin an enjoy the vibe we crafted 😇
