Cancer update - Radiation treatment is a medical marvel. The technology and treatment options available are amazing.

The side effects, however, are fucking shit. Do not recommend. Zero stars.

You know you are in the "shit... people here are really sick" zone of a hospital when you spot a volunteer harp player.

2nd phase of treatment is over though. Thank fuck.

Did they want me to ring the bell? Yes.

Did I? No! This recovering people pleaser was NOT feeling inclined to acquiesce to their request.

Thank you so much to Mum and Kim for their love and support (@lees.alison @leesy48) and my Melbourne besties for helping me get this far (@sewadorable @surgery_barbie @tanjalm244
@theweaversworkroom). Love you all.

Amazing vegan food, bourbon espresso martini and a good book 🔥.

To kill is to make cold."

Cancer update - What's better than one oncologist? 3! Yes... three. Am doing the rounds of consultants offices. Getting to know West Richmond very well.

Treatment is ongoing. Issues so far with meds, side effects and extreme fatigue. Have good days and bad. Hoping for more good days soon.

Thanks to everyone who has been checking in.

Cancer update - had surgery yesterday to remove "Lumpy". Went well. Am a bit sore still, but spent a restful night in hospital. Pathology results in 2 weeks time. Then further treatment.

Epworth Freemasons had great staff and the best hospital food I've encountered. Can definitely recommend.

Why does a cup of tea and Arnotts biscuits always taste so good when you are sick? 🤔❤️

Fancy TV came in handy to watch Spain v Belgium early this morning. This years World Cup has been a perfect distraction for me over the last month.

Figgy was happy having Grandma stay overnight with her.

Am home now, extra quiet weeks ahead of recovery for me.

I am still in MASSIVE Pursuit of Jade withdrawals.
My local librarians are on it though, and tonight I shall also watch the best Disney Princess movie EVER as a remedy to my melancholy.
