𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐞:
“I think someday you’ll hate me.” Thomas’s voice stretched with a loneliness Andrew had never heard before. “You’ll cut me open and find a garden of rot where my heart should be.”

Andrew let the silence sharpen between them, waited until Thomas’s breath caught in quiet anguish from being made to wait. “When I cut you open,” Andrew finally said, “all I’ll find is that we match.”

100% YES! This is my second five star read of the year. Perfect for readers who like psychological horror and gothic horror.

In celebration of my 1 month anniversary here on bookstagram, here’s a not-so-chaotic Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) 2026 haul!🥳

MIBF is an annual event held in Pasay City, Philippines, where popular and indie bookstores and publishing houses come together to sell books, comics, short stories, stationery, journals, and other bookish goodies at discounted prices! Book signings and book talks are also part of the program. Overall, it’s every Filipino bookworm’s personal Disneyland!🎢📚

While shopping, I stuck closely to my “Buy or Bye” list, and I’m proud to say I’m only one book away from completing it! Though, can someone please recommend me a shop that sells The Sword of Kaigen in the PH?😭

book mail unboxing with a sore throat, double chins, and a lot of struggling because the scissors weren’t sharp enough. anyways, go buy pre-loved books! they’re cheaper, and you’re giving these books another chance to be read and loved. 🫶📚
