Building the business formal outfit. My thought process. Read on below for details by slide>

Slide 2 > Not your normal Navy Suit. This one is a dark navy with check. Noticeable when up close. Solid-like from afar, which I love because it makes it different than just going solid.

Slide 3 & 4 > The shirt and accessories. I love a striped shirt for this and the best tie for business is always going to be a regimental stripe. This one is a Navy grenadine by my friends at @aklasu . For shoes, I love this classic dark brown penny loafer. To transition between suit and shoe, navy socks with Birdseye pattern is enough for interest without going overboard. As for cologne, for me, I like subtle smell. Don’t go overboard, it’s a workplace. Lastly, this vintage watch choice rounds it all out with a nice brown leather strap.

Slide 5 > Putting it all together, I can’t forget a pocket square and white is the best choice most of the time. The fold I go for is usually presidential but with a twist (uneven edges 😉).

GRWM: If there is one striped suit style I absolutely love and recommend it is the chalk-stripe suit. Here is one in Navy Wool Flannel with Brown Chalk-Stripes by @bananarepublic #thebrlook

Believe it or not the quality and construction of this suit is impressive and even wowed my tailor as we were both quite impressed with how much BR has improved. The fabric alone by @vitalebarberiscanonico1663 is exceptional. Further outfit details are below:

A very quick weekend shenanigans in ATX. I went with all linen in what I call an elevated casual outfit for the summer. You can switch to sneakers if the loafers are too much for you :). I noticed I like wearing more jewelry during the summer months than I do the rest of the year. And oh, bbq. Bbq and summer go hand in hand.
