I’d never run a marathon, never even a 50K, so how did I managed to survive an ultra ?

the answer is simple - you stop waiting to feel ready because this way you’ll be waiting forever.

i never felt ready but i went with it anyway because ready is a feeling you only get after 🌟

so go and sign up for that race

the most brutal thing about endurance sports is not the pain, because you know you’re going to be in pain no matter what, in fact…you have trained for the pain and you know what’s about to come

it’s about staying when every reason says go

it’s about setting your mind on something and doing it anyway

it’s about conquering your fears

it’s about those conversations in your head with yourself where you’re fighting your body quitting but still going

it’s about crossing the line knowing the feet you’ll see tomorrow morning are the price you’re willing to pay

it’s about becoming someone you didn’t know you could be

for you aaji ❤️

week one of ultra training 🌟

this initial phase of training is meant to increase weekly mileage keeping it between 30/40kms (I managed to log 28km)

on side I use my bike everyday to commute around the city (logged 77km on bike)

within the first week of the training I lost my grandmom so I have decided to dedicate my ultra to her 🪷

with more than 118 days to go join me on this new journey of testing my capabilities 💪🏻
