Today I’m sharing a memory from Japan, while I’m in the hospital with my little one. Life has a habit of combining beauty and uncertainty.
Traveling with a baby meant carrying joy and exhaustion in the same backpack. Some moments felt magical, others incredibly difficult. But perhaps that’s what true adventure looks like—not perfect, but simply deeply alive. Sometimes we wait for the “right time” to live, forgetting that life happens in the midst of chaos. This was my second time in Japan, and it reminded me again why it’s so different from anywhere else. A place where ancient traditions quietly coexist with the future. Where silence speaks louder than noise. Where even a simple onsen can be a lesson in slowing down.

Wherever we are, whatever we do, the only thing that becomes less every day is energy. Not time! This is energy that has the ability to be renewed and increased, but each soul is allotted a certain amount of it. If you spend it all at once, it may not be enough to replenish physical strength. So any action, thought, and even words (spoken or written) carry energy. It is worth thinking about what to spend it on.
