Wix est une de ses souris récupératrices et il possède une belle réputation après avoir échappé des griffes du chat Titan. Un gros coup de cœur pour cette BD post apo ! Des dissensions se font sentir parmi les 11 survivants de l'équipage, mais Melae a la conviction que cette planète peut lui promette un avenir meilleur dans l'Empire. Mais les secrets que cache cette planète ne vont pas être simples à gérer pour l'équipage. Un roman de science-fiction un peu plus léger que ceux que je lis en ce moment, et j'ai été agréablement surpris. Mais Ange est persuadé d'avoir la capacité de se transformer en tigre pour se protéger lui même. Alors qu'une tentative de kidnapping va avoir lieu, il va en apprendre plus sur sa famille, et sur lui-même. Une BD sympa qui m'avait vraiment chauffé par la couverture du tome 13 sorti l'année dernière. Ce premier tome est vraiment une introduction, mais j'avoue vouloir en savoir plus sur cette transformation en animal. . 🇬🇧 Ange is a young student, the son of the boss of a big company who is protected by Dan, his own driver. But Ange is convinced that he has the ability to transform into a tiger to protect himself. As a kidnapping attempt takes place, he learns more about his family, and himself. 📚 [Nouvelle lecture | New reading] 📚 📖 Scarlett et Novak . 🇫🇷 Novak vit sa vie à travers son brightphone, et lorsqu'il est poursuivi le long d'un quai par deux hommes, il va faire appel à Scarlett, l'IA de son téléphone configurée pour lui. Mais cette poursuite va remettre en cause son mode de vie. Un roman court de Damasio. Une critique de nos vies et nos futurs avec les smartphones. C'est une vision un peu sombre de notre avenir, mais qui me parait réaliste sur pas mal de point. C'est rapide (peut-être un peu trop pour la fin) et efficace avec un propos intéressant. . 🇬🇧 Novak lives his life through his brightphone, and when he's chased along a dock by two men, he calls Scarlett, his phone's AI configured for him. But this chase will make him question his way of life. A short novel by Damasio. A critique of our lives and our futures with smartphones. It's a somewhat bleak vision of our future, but it seems realistic to me on a number of points. 📚 [Nouvelle lecture | New reading] 📚 📖 Middlewest, Volume 3 - Resilience . 🇫🇷 Fin de la fuite d'Abel. Sans trop en dire, il va ici tenter de s'échapper du dernier lieu de son aventure avec une confrontation finale avec son père. C'est vraiment une belle histoire et triste histoire qui se termine. La fin m'a mis les larmes aux yeux. Je me suis perdu un peu dans les dessins que je trouve toujours aussi beaux, mais dont certains passages étaient un peu brouillons à mon sens. C'est un des gros coups de cœur pour moi de la fin d'année. . 🇬🇧 End of Abel's flight. Without saying too much, he will here try to escape from the last place of his adventure with a final confrontation with his father. It really is a beautiful and sad story that ends. It brought tears to my eyes. I got a little lost in the drawings that I still find really beautiful, but some parts of them were a bit messy in my opinion. Suite à une série de rencontres malencontreuses, Kai va se faire enlever. Mais cet enlèvement a des répercussions qui pourraient provoquer une guerre entre deux factions : les Fae et les Dragons. Cette suite est très sympa, l'univers que crée Cogman est vraiment intéressant. Je continuerai cette saga, mais pas dans l'immédiat histoire de me laisser un peu de temps pour mes autres sagas. . 🇬🇧 Irene, after her first assignment in an alternate world, finds herself the Librarian-in-Resident of that world, still with her apprentice Kai. 📚 [Nouvelle lecture | New reading] 📚 📖 Malpertuis . 🇫🇷 Malpertuis, cette demeure que l'on pourrait croire maudite, est le théâtre d'un héritage pour le moins fantastique. Jean-Jacques Grandsire se retrouve à Malpertuis suite aux vœux de succession du propriétaire de la maison, l'oncle Cassave. En effet, avec un groupe de personne dont sa sœur, il doit vivre un temps dans cette maison pour bénéficier de la fortune de Cassave. C'est ici un roman fantastique limite horreur. La vie dans cette demeure est intéressante à lire, même si j'ai eu du mal à me souvenir de qui était qui au début. J'ai été très naïf dans ce roman, et je ne percutais pas toujours de tout, donc ce qu'on apprend au dénouement a été une vraie surprise pour moi. . 🇬🇧 Malpertuis, this house that one might think cursed, is the scene of a legacy that is at the very least fantastic. Jean-Jacques Grandsire finds himself in Malpertuis following the succession wishes of the house's owner, Uncle Cassave. Indeed, with a group of people including his sister, he has to live in this house for a while to benefit from Cassave's fortune. This is a fantastic novel bordering on horror. Life in this mansion is interesting to read, although I struggled to remember who was who at first. 📚 [Nouvelle lecture | New reading] 📚 📖 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . 🇫🇷 Suite et fin des aventures de Potter. Dans ce tome, Harry ne retournera pas à Poudlard, car une mission bien plus importante l'attend, il doit trouver un moyen de détruire définitivement Voldemort ! J'ai bien aimé ce dernier tome, même si je suis bien content d'en avoir fini avec cette saga. Dans ce livre, Harry et l'ensemble de ses compagnons vont atteindre la maturité nécessaire pour vaincre, même si on passe encore par des passages de bouderies et de non-dits un peu rébarbatifs. La fin, notamment la bataille finale, est beaucoup plus expéditive que ce que je pensais, mais néanmoins très réussie. . 🇬🇧 Continuation and end of the adventures of Potter. In this volume, Harry will not return to Hogwarts, as a much more vital mission awaits him, he must find a way to destroy Voldemort for good! I really liked this last volume, even if I am very happy to be done with this saga. In this book, Harry and all of his companions will reach the maturity needed to win, even if we still go through passages of sulking and unspoken a little off-putting. 📚 [Nouvelle lecture | New reading] 📚 📖 The Discworld Series Book 1 - The Colour of Magic . 🇫🇷 Au début il y avait une tortue. Sur cette tortue se trouve quatre éléphants qui portent le Disque-Monde. Et dans ce monde se trouve un mage, du nom de Rincevent, qui vit des aventures peu communes tout en défiant la Mort très régulièrement. Cette première entrée dans le Disque-Monde se passe en trois aventures différentes. On y suit bien sûr Rincevent, mais aussi un compagnon de route qu'il se fait dès la première aventure. C'est rocambolesque, c'est fou, c'est nimp, bref, c'est le Disque-Monde ! J'ai vraiment aimé, ça faisait longtemps que je voulais découvrir l'univers de Pratchett, et je continuerai de lire cette longue série (41 tomes) de temps en temps. . 🇬🇧 In the beginning there was a turtle.
