Last @seattlekraken preseason game from Wednesday Oct. 1st! Puck sculpture, the new @piroshkypiroshky sausage roll with melted onions & mac & cheese, @philippgrubauer31 doing his thing and after-game beverages at the Verizon Lounge! We made it on TV!

Walkers were in Wave 5. Cute doggie! More @brooksrunning people cheering us on! We had miles and kilometres marking our route. There was a beer garden this year. Commemorative medal! 🏅

We’re back for another season of @seattlekraken hockey! @itsfraze in the house (love Blackpink’s “뛰어 (Jump)!) and @strawberryradio and @angelicasalem are back hyping us all up! We got a fight from @hayds51! He won it! Forgot to take a picture of the mac and cheese, but the new Greek salad is very nice, with caperberries! The Bristol Bay Wild Market salmon sandwich is always tasty!

So the restaurant was @viacarota, famous as a celebrity hangout. Started with complementary Castelveltrano olives, Negroni Zero & Classico and bread with peppered olive oil. Then got the Scafata (fava beans, escarole, peas & spring onion) and Acchiughe e Burro, which Gary forgot comes with obscene amounts of butter. He doesn’t like fatty foods. Oops. Pastas are the cacio e pepe tonarelli and pesto stracci.

Took the scafata in a box because I was too overheated from the day (39°C/102°F) to eat hot vegetables. Also, it had artichokes (could have been trimmed better; had tough bits) instead of spring onions. I did enjoy having it cold later as a healthy snack.

I went to @nakamuranyc and had the szechuan chili cucumber and the famous torigawa (chicken) ramen with an ajitama egg. I love noodles. Yuzu soda was refreshing. #newyork #ramen by @salanth

First order of business was coffee and a bagel. We love @cafegrumpy and I was too discombobulated to say the coffees were for here. Yuzu matcha was refreshing. Poppy bagel with sundried tomato cream cheese from @bestbagelnyc was tasty. #newyork #coffee #bagel by @salanth
