Dear September,

You took me across countries, time zones, and emotions I’m still finding words for. From representing Tanzania to connecting with people who became friends, you gave me moments . Somewhere between meaningful conversations, and little adventures, my inner girl was smiling. And yes, she looked good doing it.

You reminded me that I can stand in rooms full of opportunity and still be learning how to protect my peace. I can care deeply for people and still choose myself. My heart is soft, but darling, my standards are getting stronger.

Alhamdulillah for the doors that opened, the kindness I received, the memories I made, and the strength that carried me home. I’m proud of the woman who showed up, even when she was tired.

So, September, I’m letting you go with gratitude and a little sass. You gave me stories to tell, lessons to live by, and plenty of reasons to dream bigger.

October, bismillah. This girl has prayers to make, dreams to chase, and a life to enjoy.

And today, we visited the water park we swam, enjoyed the sauna, and had lunch together. But don’t be fooled by the soft life! Today is the final day of voting, and now we’re waiting for the right time to return to the polling stations and begin observing the vote-counting process.

Tukamalizia ziara yetu kwa kutembelea katika Mto Amur, mojawapo ya mito mirefu zaidi duniani na alama muhimu ya Jiji la Khabarovsk. Mto huu unapita katika maeneo ya Urusi na China, ukiwa sehemu muhimu ya mpaka wa nchi hizo mbili. Mbali na uzuri wake wa kuvutia, Mto Amur una umuhimu mkubwa katika usafirishaji, uvuvi, biashara na maisha ya jamii zinazoishi kandokando yake. Ilikuwa sehemu nzuri sana ya kumalizia siku yetu huku tukijifunza historia, jiografia na utajiri wa asili wa eneo hili.
