We are adopting another rescue dog on Friday!!! Eek.

We spent the weekend building and moving around furniture. (I say ‘we’ but husband did all the hard work and I did the directing 😉)

The good news is that our little scruffy newcomer now has a safe space of her own

The bad news is we had to move two bookcases and have no where to put them - help?! by @sallydohertywrites

When I decided to become an author, I never envisaged being responsible for every blooming step on the production line 😅 but here we are

If you ordered one copy of Toby and the Hair-Raising Halloween, chances are it’s going in the post tomorrow! If you ordered 2+ books or a book box, it’ll be a few more days because I only have two arms and ten percent battery 🧙🏻‍♀️🎃

My books are here!!! So happy they turned out so well. I love them!!! Relieved too 😅 Bringing out a book is a mammoth task when you live with chronic illness and only have 40 minutes of usable energy a day 🫠 But I did it! With help of course from the wondrously talented @sarahjdocker

So I did a thing at the weekend 🦉

I thought the Barn owl would be my favourite but he would not stop chittering. Literally constant noise 😅
Loved the Eagle owl. Majestic and calm, and those eyes! Huge and super heavy to hold for my jelly arms though
Also pictured, a Peregrine Falcon which my nephew particularly loved

My sister ended up being hugged by a wing and didn’t move for at least five minutes. I think it was the best day of her life

The company was fab and do home visits UK-wide for a reasonable price. Perfect for housebound folk! by @sallydohertywrites
