Three cheers for schizostylis! 🎉 A late summer bloom that catches the light deliciously. ✨A native of South Africa now named Hesperantha, otherwise known as River Lily. 🕷️Notice the white spider. It spreads so is great for dividing and sharing with your friends. 💕 I’ve also had success with it in pots. An all round win! #hesperantha #hesperanthacoccinea #riverlily #schizostylis #schizostyliscoccinea #sketchbook #paintingeveryday #allotment #allotmentlife🌱 by @sallydove

This morning the yellow leaves spiralled down slow and by late afternoon they flocked upwards from the trees in the park like a snowstorm. Whoop! 🍂✨#autumn #autumnleaves #drawingeveryday #inthepark #fall #leaves #leavesofinstagram by @sallydove

“I have touched that form, that unbelievable creation, with my pen, my hand, my eyes, my heart - all involved in a jumble of being there.” This helped me at the time of doing it, but I had no idea how much comfort it would bring me now, now she is gone. Rest in peace my furry little pal. 💕🐾🙏🏽🦋🐦‍⬛ by @sallydove

Happy Pride 🏳️‍🌈 Bristol people! Here is a snippet of my ‘Queer Nature’ painting which now I’ve been on a Queer Ecology walk with @connor_the_ecologist ( as part of the @festofnature ) I realise is absolutely and most definitely a thing! Even though I am queer and love nature I had no idea how much marvelous non-binary and crazy nuts stuff goes on, in the most brilliant of ways. 🙏🏽💚🌻🐦‍⬛🌈🏳️‍🌈⭐️💕✨✨#queernature #bristolpride #lovenature #queerecology #festivalofnature by @sallydove

Beautiful animation meets familiar sounds. ✨ @sallydove created this gorgeous Tiger Moth clip, and it felt so much like the Rosie's a Goldmine and Lisa's Riding animations Sally made that I had to add a little Rosie audio to it. Press play! 🎧

Please keep sending tiger moths my way. I saw another one yesterday on my way to the shop but it fluttered over the wall and evaded my camera.
