A little update on me!

For the past three years I have worked at Bosco, and believe me when I say that has been such a rewarding job. I loved my position as a 1:1 para and my position at the after school program. It’s been a hard decision for me to leave so many little faces that have made such a BIG impact on my life.

With that being said, I have decided it is time to start the next chapter in my life. For those of you who don't know, I graduated from Don Bosco in 2020 and my goal since then has been to open some sort of cafe, bakery, or sweet treat shop! Well, my dreams are starting to come to life and I am ready to take on this new adventure! I can not thank my parents enough for the support and help that they have given me over these past few months/years! Without them, I don’t know what would have happened! I guess you could say they’ve raised a bunch of entrepreneurs.
Thank you Suzette Johnson and J.J. Johnson for the encouragement and opportunity to buy their building to help these dreams come to life.

This building holds A LOT of history to Gilbertville, and I am very excited to let it shape my future!

So to the town of Gilbertville, be on the look out for something sweet and something new coming soon! 🍦 taken in Gilbertville, Iowa by @sallythoma1
