Hello, I'm Salma. 🤍🎨
I'm so happy you're here.
I've always believed that art is more than creating something beautiful—it's a way to slow down, understand ourselves, and reconnect with what really matters.
As a visual artist and mindful art facilitator, I've seen how creativity can bring moments of calm, clarity, and joy, even during stressful times. It's something I practice in my own life, and it's something I love sharing with others.
This little corner of Instagram is where I'll share: 🌿 Mindfulness art activities 🎨 Creative inspiration 💛 Gentle ways to reduce stress through art 🌊 Nature-inspired creativity 📖 Bits of my artistic journey and the things that inspire me
Whether you're an artist or you've never picked up a paintbrush before, you're welcome here.
I'd love to get to know you too!
✨ Tell me in the comments: What helps you slow down and recharge?
Welcome to my creative space. 💚

Your name, in kind words.

Write your name, then find a kind word for every letter, a word that describes you or one you wish for yourself.

I was feeling scattered that day, so I sat down and drew one line. Then another colour, and another. It really helped me focus, and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Location:Abu Dhabi

The leaves we pass without noticing carry lines, colours and quiet details worth seeing.
A slow walk, a few fallen leaves, and a page of your own.

«First group walk: Wednesday 11 November, morning · free trial · 8 spots only · DM "ART"», all we need is to walk a little slower and look down. by @salmaartstudio

Kintsugi and origami remind us that we don't always need to fix everything or get everything right. Sometimes, we just need to slow down, work with our hands, and be present with what is here.

Sometimes, when your mind won’t slow down, you don’t need to force yourself to be still. You can begin by creating. 🤍

Choose a few colours, tear some paper, follow the edges, and let your hands lead the way.

No plan. No perfect result. Just a little space to pause, create, and reconnect with the present moment.

Inspired by the idea that creativity can be an alternative to getting caught up in worry.

✨ Save this for a day when your mind feels too busy, and share it with someone who might need a little creative pause.

—

Some days leave you with more than memories… they leave you with a little more warmth in your heart. 💗

Yesterday’s Pink Day was full of creativity, meaningful conversations, and beautiful moments shared through art.

A heartfelt thank you to
@lodyana.spa and it's owner Madame Nesreen & their events manager Mariam Kamal

for bringing us together for such a meaningful day, to everyone who organized and supported the event, and to every woman who joined our workshops and shared a little piece of herself with us.

Thank you for the conversations, the smiles, the colours, and the openness to try something new. You made these moments special. 🤍

And a special thank you to the lovely meditation facilitator Vandana Mendonca
@graceful_reflections

for sharing her thoughts on mental well-being and the beautiful Kintsugi poem written by her husband Tony @ aamend0nca
. ✨

Art doesn’t have to be perfect. Sometimes, it simply gives us a space to pause, express, and connect.

———

****Mindful art ASMR is On ***
Sometimes, all we need is to slow down and really notice. 🌿

A walk, the sound of birds, the play of light and shadow… and suddenly, an ordinary moment becomes a little source of inspiration.

I followed the shadows with my pastels, letting nature lead the way. No plan, no pressure — just being here, noticing, and creating.

What if we made more room for moments like these? What if we explored nature through mindful walks and art, together? 🤍

Would you join me?
