Mohammed passed away before we could even launch a plea for help.
Reality did not give us the time to cry out for help; baby Mohammed Abu Aida’s body failed him before we could even share his story, leaving behind a collapsed healthcare system in Gaza. Mohammed is gone, just as dozens of other sick and premature infants wait in silence for a similar fate, under a blockade that denies them any chance at treatment or life.
Innocent souls are lost before their cries of pain can ever be heard.

لم يُمهلنا الواقع لنصرخ بطلب النجدة؛ فقد خذل جسد الطفل "محمد أبو عيدة" قلبه الصغير قبل أن نتمكن حتى من عرض قضيته، تاركاً خلفه واقعاً طبياً منهاراً في غزة.

Rocky… the dog who survived an Israeli airstrike missile and was left carrying the scars of fear
Rocky, a dog injured by the missile that struck Block 6 in Al-Bureij refugee camp, survived the physical injury but not the trauma left behind by the attack. Since the moment of the explosion, he has appeared frightened and distressed, with noticeable changes in his behavior after experiencing the terror of the violent strike — a scene that reflects the psychological impact of bombardment and explosions on living beings caught amid the realities of war.

“Rock”.. is not just a pet; he is a living soul facing hell.
While homes are destroyed and people are displaced, “Rock” stands as a silent witness to the horror of what is happening. He miraculously survived the bombardment, but he did not escape the terror that explosions leave on the soul. His fearful gaze and the scars on his leg tell a story of pain that many do not see; war does not distinguish between humans and animals, and everyone here pays the price.

"روك".. ليس مجرد كائن أليف، بل هو نبضٌ حيّ يواجه الجحيم.
بينما تُدمر المنازل ويُشرّد البشر، يقف "روك" شاهداً صامتاً على فظاعة ما يحدث. نجا من القصف بأعجوبة، لكنه لم ينجُ من الرعب الذي تتركه الانفجارات في الروح. نظراته المذعورة وندوب ساقه تحكي قصة ألمٍ لا يراه الكثيرون؛ فالحرب لا تفرق بين البشر والحيوانات، والجميع هنا يدفع الثمن.

The only survivor, child Sami Abu Qasim. Only Sami remains—a three-year-old boy who survived after his father, Omar Sami Ahmad Abu Qasim, his mother, Asmaa, and his six-year-old sister, Habiba, were killed in an Israeli strike that hit the family’s apartment in Deir al-Balah at dawn today. According to witnesses, Sami was found crawling toward the apartment door in an attempt to escape before the fire that engulfed the home reached him. He is now the only survivor of his family, left to carry alone the name of a family he lost in a matter of moments.

الناجي الوحيد الطفل سامي أبو سالم . لم يبقَ سوى سامي، طفلٌ في الثالثة من عمره، نجا وحده بعدما استُشهد والده عمر سامي أحمد أبو قاسم، ووالدته أسماء، وشقيقته حبيبة (6 أعوام)، إثر قصفٍ إسرائيلي استهدف شقة العائلة فجر اليوم في مدينة دير البلح. وبحسب شهود، عُثر على سامي وهو يزحف عند باب الشقة محاولًا النجاة قبل أن تمتد إليه النيران التي اشتعلت داخلها، ليصبح الناجي الوحيد من أسرته، حاملًا وحده اسم عائلة فقدها في لحظات.

Behind this camera is a child with dreams bigger than the war, aspiring to capture beauty in a world that has only shown her pain. Najwa Haggag, 7 years old, is not just a number or a fleeting story.
A year ago, we advocated for her, and she was able to travel to Jordan for necessary surgeries. However, her treatment journey was left incomplete; she was forcibly returned before finishing the operations due to a decision by the occupation forcing her to leave the hospital.
Today, Najwa is back, and her life hangs in the balance, awaiting an urgent decision to save her. Najwa deserves to grow up, complete the treatment she began, and pursue her passion for photography in good health.
We appeal to the World Health Organization and all relevant authorities to intervene immediately to secure an urgent medical evacuation to save her life.

خلف هذه الكاميرا، طفلة تحمل في عينيها أحلاماً أكبر من الحرب، وتطمح لتوثيق الجمال في عالم لم يرها سوى بالألم. نجوى حجاج، ذات الـ 7 سنوات، ليست مجرد رقم أو قصة عابرة.
قبل عام، ناشدنا من أجلها وخرجت بالفعل للعلاج في الأردن لإجراء عملياتها الضرورية. لكن، لم تكتمل رحلة علاجها؛ فقد أُجبرت على العودة قسراً قبل إتمام العمليات بسبب قرار من قبل الاحتلال فرض عليها مغادرة المشفى.
اليوم، تعود نجوى وحياتها معلقة بقرار عاجل لإنقاذها. نجوى تستحق أن تكبر، وتستحق أن تستكمل علاجها الذي بدأته لتمارس شغفها بالتصوير وهي بكامل صحتها.

Seven-year-old Najwa Hajjaj is fighting a daily battle against a rare congenital condition that causes severe and persistent narrowing of the esophagus. The disorder has left her unable to eat normally, forcing her to rely entirely on a feeding tube and medical fluids to stay alive.
‏Najwa currently lives in a tent west of Gaza City, where her health continues to deteriorate amid a shortage of the essential medical supplies needed to replace her feeding tube. She remains waiting for permission to leave the Gaza Strip to continue her treatment.
‏Her family says she is suffering from severe malnutrition and anemia, and is urgently appealing to humanitarian and international organizations to intervene, secure the medical care she needs, facilitate her travel for treatment, and save her life before it is too late.

تواجه الطفلة نجوى حجاج (7 أعوام) معركة يومية مع مرض نادر يتمثل في تضيق حاد ومستمر في المريء منذ الولادة، ما حرمها من القدرة على تناول الطعام طبيعيًا، وجعلها تعتمد بشكل كامل على أنبوب تغذية ومحاليل طبية للبقاء على قيد الحياة.

وتعيش نجوى حاليًا داخل خيمة غربي مدينة غزة، في وقت تتدهور فيه حالتها الصحية نتيجة نقص المستلزمات الطبية الأساسية اللازمة لاستبدال أنبوب التغذية، فيما لا تزال تنتظر السماح لها بمغادرة قطاع غزة لاستكمال علاجها.
