Kenai Peninsula Fairgrounds & ARCHES Amphitheater in Ninilchik, AK

POSTS STORIES REELS

We may have been quiet lately but that doesn’t mean things aren’t happening. Planning for Salmonfest 2027 is well underway!

Behind the scenes, countless conversations, emails, texts and carrier pigeons have been flying back and forth with agents, managers and artists. Inquiries are pouring into our inboxes and the lineup is beginning to find its form. At this stage, it’s still a work in progress and we always appreciate your feedback and suggestions.

Lineup announcements will begin next month so stay tuned. We can’t wait to share what’s in store, bringing excitement and something to look forward to as we head into the long nights of the Alaskan winter.

In bittersweet news, Blind Faith Earliest Bird tickets are officially sold out. To everyone who took that leap of faith and purchased tickets before any announcements, thank you! Your trust, enthusiasm and continued support mean everything. Without you, none of this would be possible. We are moving to Early Bird Tier 2 so snag em’ now to save the most. Link 🔗 in bio

In celebration of 15 years of Salmonfest, we’re excited to launch our Season of Giving.

For the rest of the year, Salmonfest will be giving $15,000 each month to organizations doing meaningful work in our local communities, Bristol Bay and throughout Alaska.

For 15 years, Salmonfest has been about much more than music. It’s about community, connection, wild salmon, clean water and protecting the incredible places that bring us all together. This is one more way for all of us to give back to the people and organizations working every day to make a difference.

Of course, none of this would be possible without each and every one of you, our extended Salmonfest family that comes together year after year to celebrate a shared love for Alaska, its people, towns and villages, its waters, lands and wildlife, and the beautiful interconnectedness of it all that makes this place so extraordinary. Our giving is a gift from all of us, made possible by all of us, to support the people, places and causes that matter.

While we have many longtime partner organizations and groups we’re proud to support, we also know there are countless others doing incredible work, often quietly and without much recognition. Please don’t hesitate to share organizations, grassroots efforts or individuals making a difference who could use a little extra support by tagging them in the comments or emailing info@salmonfestalaska.org.

Just like your band suggestions, we listen! And sometimes, those suggestions really do become reality. We love you, appreciate you and salute you for making all of this possible.

The equinox has arrived in Alaska and as we settle into shorter days, winter adventures and longer nights around the fire, the memories of Salmonfest will help carry us through the northern winter.

And while we hold onto memories of music, friends, community, salmon and those magical summer days together, we’ve begun work on Salmonfest 2027. We have also received many requests from our most loyal supporters wanting to secure camping with the purchase of a ticket. We certainly understand and appreciate that sentiment. As a result, we’re releasing a LIMITED number of ARCHES CAMPING passes for those that snag our appropriately named ‘Blind Faith’ tickets. Those early bird camping passes will become available to those who have purchased festival tickets by Mid-October.

We deeply appreciate those of you who have been with us for so long and believe in Salmonfest enough to jump right in and get your tickets before a single act is announced! We hope to continue earning that trust with what is already shaping up to be an exceptional 2027 lineup.

As we fondly reflect back on Salmonfest 15 and marvelous weekend that was everything we hoped for and more, we have already begun planning Salmonfest 2027! We always welcome your suggestions, tag your favorite artist and start manifesting now!

On another note we have received numerous requests for merch and we do have an online store up and running now. While we don't have a full inventory of festival merchandise, we do have quite a few things in various sizes. Given the ever growing and legitimate concern about the trawling issue, we are going to donate all our September proceeds on merch sales to those organizations primarily focused on trawling.

Our friends at Sacred Acre have helped put a spotlight on this wasteful and destructive practice and we're proud to offer our support in this ongoing campaign. On that note remember Sacred Acre is this coming weekend Sept. 11-13! Weather looks good and the lineup is amazing! by @salmonfest

🍻We still got a few left in us! Come check us out tonight @anchoragebrewingtaproom for the BadBerry Sour release. 🍻

🎨 Thank you @salmonfest and @bigmountain_jo for capturing such a fun moment this summer. ☀️

After September, were up to no good, so catch us while you can ♠️ by @salmonfest

💫We're finally home and able to reflect on our time at @salmonfest in Alaska. It's hard to describe the magic that occurs there, but we're deeply grateful to have had the fortune to play the festival for a 2nd time this year. The staff, fans, artists and all involved with the production are second to none. We cherish the connections we made on this past tour. Huge thanks to our friend @lewin.jim for filling in on guitar last minute and adding his sweet sounds to our tunes. More Alaska photos to follow as we continue to unwind. Have a great weekend friends! Photos by @rckincaidphoto and @itspapajess 🤠❤️ by @salmonfest

Now that we’ve had a moment to recover and reflect on that weekend of splendor and joy, we want to once again extend our deepest and humblest gratitude for all the incredible photos, testimonials, stories and expressions of appreciation we’ve seen and received.

At the risk of repeating ourselves, it bears repeating: we have built this dream together.

You’ve believed in what we’re doing. You’ve quite literally bought into the vision that, together, we can make that first weekend in August something magical, musical, memorable...and somehow so much more.

For many of us, these few days seem to renew something that can sometimes feel as though it’s slipping away from our society: trust, hope, camaraderie, connection, love and the belief that experiences still exist that can transcend our daily struggles, warm our hearts, lift our sometimes-weary spirits and remind us of what’s possible when we come together. It takes all of us to make that happen. Every ticket purchased, every volunteer shift, every performance, every conversation and every act of support has helped build this incredible gathering. Thank you for being part of the story. Everyone deserves recognition for the role you play in making Salmonfest something far greater than any one of us. When we all come together, what we create is so much more than the sum of its parts.

We love you. We thank you. And with your continued support and belief, we promise to keep working tirelessly to create a weekend that sends us all back into the world with a little more buoyancy, a little more hope, and enough joy in our hearts to carry us through the days that can sometimes feel mundane, difficult, or overwhelming. Until we gather again, hold on to that feeling.

We built it together. And together, we’ll keep it going.

With love and endless gratitude,

Salmonfest
