It’s Official 🖤 Starting May 1st, my books will only be open to New Extension Clients & Returning Guests!! What does this mean? ⬇️

🖤Starting May 1st, I will only be allowing NEW guests to book if they are looking to get hair extensions , along with other hair services if necessary.
🖤ANY of my past and present clients will not be affected by this policy, as they are not considered “new”. If you’ve booked with me ONCE, you’re free to book again 😌
🖤My availability has been extremely limited and with that , I am booked up solid for 10+ weeks! I am so extremely grateful for all of my lovely guests and their support. It wouldn’t be possible without you 🫶🏻
🖤The beginning of my exclusive booking is only the start to an amazing journey for Salon 22. To close my books only 5 MONTHS since going solo, seriously means the world to me. I appreciate and love every single one of clients and anyone who has supported me.

Extension Color Correction??!! 🫢

In all seriousness it sucked seeing her extensions fade to this color. I’d say it was even more painful because I had to see them all the time considering this is my best friend‘s hair😂 it was a constant reminder of how I don’t have control over everything, including how color fades or reacts to certain chemicals. But it didn’t matter because it bothered me SO bad!😩 Regardless I’m beyond grateful for the trust that not only she has in me but all of my clients. Even if something unfortunate like this happens, the trust to fix it and continue working with them is always a blessing.

It’s not just a hair appointment. It’s an investment ✨

HOW??
• Proper placement is 🔑 - try to focus on depth towards the top , with increased brightness as you work towards the ends. Try diagonal sections with the brightness focused on going towards the front. This gives the illusion of a teardrop of depth that looks better, for a longer period of time as the hair grows.
- educate your guests on proper care and maintenance
- don’t need a bright blonde?? Don’t lift them to a bright blonde! If your goal is a level 6-8, you only need to lift them about a level lighter than the overall goal, this means as the toner fades, your client won’t be left feeling too light or bright.
- On the contrary, if your client wants bright pops, but without the maintenance of a bright blonde , keeping dimension in the right areas will not only add balance but keep it low maintenance. This would be a great time to try out techniques like baby slices, and teasing.

Most of my clients choose to go months between foil appointments because the grow out is so good 😍 To protect their investments , they’ll opt into booking small maintenance appointments such as; toners, haircuts, maybe a mini foil to enhance the face frame highlights after a few months, but in doing that, they can go even longer without getting a partial or full, more than twice a year !!

BTS📸 - 7 hour blonding TRANSFORMATION edition✨ by the one & only @lifeoflisag 🖤

It’s officially been a whole year since meeting Lisa, and getting my hair done by her. Our first appointment was a color correction, getting rid of tons of old color & blending out my long regrowth. (There’s a few vids on her page & @straightoutofcosmo going in depth on this process) Fast forward to this year, it was time. Time for a MAJOR change. And a change that I’m still DROOLING over. 7 hours, countless foils, a lot of hairstylist banter & gossip, a sweet treat and a bagel later…. MY DREAM BLONDE CAME TO LIFE😍
As always, thank you again Lisa. It’s beyond a blessing and a serious honor that I’ve not only sat in your chair once, but twice now. 🖤

Last note, although I won’t ever utilize @tylerrcarlson services for myself😂, I needed to mention his talent is also unreal. A barber, but more specifically a highly skilled precision hair cutter. I was able to witness first hand multiple haircuts while in Lisa’s hair. To say the results were transformative all in their own way, is an understatement. I swear I had gained so much second hand knowledge upon leaving HIM/HER ATILIER just based on listening to his advice and knowledge shared with his guests.

@bellamihairpro Masterclass Day 1 of 2🖤 / Hosting my first ever class at the salon ( @arlington.collective ) was such an amazing experience!!! To have 15 Stylists, some still in school, and a super talented Educator, and Rep. in the salon creating, collaborating, sharing and learning was so rewarding. As a stylist who was once a student of the masterclass in 2021, it felt surreal to be the one hosting it this time🥹
