Okayyy, let’s talk about this pixie because COLOR is cute… but healthy hair is always the goal. 💇🏽‍♀️✨

When I’m coloring hair, especially short hair, I’m paying attention to more than just getting the perfect shade. I’m thinking about the integrity of the hair too.

Because what good is a beautiful color if the hair is dry, weak and breaking off? We want COLOR and HEALTH over here. 😂

And now let’s get into the CUT.

Listen… the haircut is the key ingredient to a lasting pixie. You can have the best products, the best flat iron and know how to wrap your hair perfectly, but if that cut doesn’t have the right shape, baby, you’re going to be fighting that pixie every morning. 😭

A great pixie should fall into place, hold its shape and make styling at home so much easier.

A pixie will forever be THAT girl. 😍😍

But baby… a good pixie is more than just cutting the hair short. It’s all about the shape, the movement, the mold and the FINISH.

This is where technique matters. I’m paying attention to how her hair lays, where she needs volume, where she needs softness and how that cut is going to complement HER.

Because when that pixie is cut right and styled right? You shouldn’t have to fight with it every morning. 👏🏽

And y’all know me… I’m always going to choose healthy hair AND a good style. We’re not sacrificing one for the other over here. 🙌🏾
