SS15 Comme des Garçons „SHIRT“ 3D Appliqué Padded Star Panel Shirt - BNWT Deadstock grail from Rei Kawakubo's Spring/Summer 2015 collection for CDG SHIRT. Tags still attached, never worn. The showcase from Picture 1 was at Paris Fashion Week in 2014/06. pic by vogue runway. Looks like a plain white cotton shirt at first, until you notice the star appliqués on the chest aren't printed or embroidered, they're actually padded. Tissu matelassé sewn straight into the fabric so they sit raised off the shirt like little pillows. Classic point collar, plain button placket, nothing else going on which makes the padding hit even harder up close. Made in France from the finest European fabrics, which CDG SHIRT has always done even though most people assume everything from the brand comes out of Japan.
