“Passed down like folk songs, our love lasts so long.”

Maybe that’s what the islands feel like to me, a love that keeps being carried from one visit to another, until coming back no longer feels like going somewhere, but coming home.

This time, we had the chance to visit Pulau Karang Bongkok, home to Desa Laguna Regenerative Village & Island, the well-known floating restaurant Nusa Keramba, and lastly, the magnificent Pulau Payung.

Follow me as I take you through every little beauty they have to offer.🌊🤍

“Everything is a win when the goal is experience.”

I came across this sentence on my Threads timeline a few weeks ago, and somehow it became the reminder I needed throughout these past six weeks.

Some journeys leave you with photographs. This one leaves me with people, perspectives, and pieces of myself I never knew I would find. For that alone, Abang None Kepulauan Seribu has been more than I could ever ask for.

A little shoutout to Bang Raffi @raffiilya , i couldn’t ask for a better partner. Your patience and constant support made this journey so much lighter. It’s such a blessing that our path crossed, i found myself a best friend and a brother at the same time. I’ll always be rooting for you!

A massive thank you to my mentors, Bang @muhammadfaruqi , Non @jisellerh , and Non @aikosftr , for guiding me throughout this journey. Thank you for every lesson and every encouragement.

Lastly, to the 29 people who turned this journey into a home. This journey gave me more than memories, it gave me people to cherish. I’ve learned from each of you, and I’ll carry a piece of your light with me wherever life leads.

Maybe that’s why everything is a win when the goal is experience.

Because long after the stage is gone, it’s never the title we remember most. What remains are the people we’ve met along the way, and the little pieces of them we’ll carry in our hearts wherever life takes us. 🌊🤍 by @salsa.bptr
