POV: you trusted your photographer and got THIS at golden hour 🤍

The Blodgets said “i do” at twin oaks and i am still not over it 🤍🖤

White florals. Black gowns. Golden light. A veil that did exactly what it was supposed to do.

This is why I do what I do.

Gray forecast on your wedding day? Take a breath. 🤍

Overcast skies are one of the best things that can happen to a coastal wedding. The clouds soften the light, so skin glows, whites stay white, and the lace and beading on a gown hold every detail. Add the ocean, a few palms, and a pale editorial sky, and you get a quiet, cinematic look that sunny days can’t copy.

This rooftop in La Jolla is proof. ✨

Save this for the next time the forecast makes you nervous, and send it to a bride who needs to hear it.

Photographer secret: I almost never tell couples how to pose. 🤫

I give you something to do. Walk. Spin her. Whisper something ridiculous. The real laughs show up on their own.

Every photo here happened in motion. 🤍

One year ago, Dae’Sha & Maurray said “I do” and then proceeded to throw one of the loudest, most alive celebrations we’ve ever had the honor of photographing.

This crew did not come to sit quietly. They came to dance, laugh, and hold nothing back. And somehow, in the middle of all that energy, they never lost sight of what mattered: Family.

Tradition and total chaos in the same room, and it was awesome.

That’s the thing about this couple. They honor where they come from, and then they turn the volume all the way up.

Happy first anniversary, you two. May every year after be exactly this loud!
