As a part of our move to Salt Lake City, we are excited to welcome the community to be in studio with us at Millennium Dance Complex on Friday, October 2, 2026! 🥹🕺🏼

Start the day with a FREE Open Community Class from taught by company artist Kannen Glanz from 9:00 - 10:30 AM. Experience an open level improvisation class connecting to your personal movement expression, creativity, and tapping into various physicalities through task based prompts.

Soon after, join us from 10:45 - 11:45 am for a FREE Open Rehearsal with Former SALT2 Artistic Director Amanda Colangelo as she sets a new work on SALT’s sister company SALT2 for their Spring Concert. See the creative process live and be the first to witness new movement take shape in her latest creation that will premiere in 2027. 🙌🏼🧚

Behind the Scenes with SALT | Season Photoshoot 📸

We have wrapped our season photoshoot captured by former company artist @smyleybird and we cannot wait to show yall the final product! 📸🎥

We partnered with our friends @deadstockfs comprising of Chase Wise (@chase_wise8) and Eldon Johnson (@eldoson) who assisted in styling our company artists. With thrifted and upcycled clothes from all over Utah, Deadstock believes that we each deserve another chance, materials and people alike ✨🙌🏼

Our season is going to be in full swing so soon and we can’t wait for SALT to be closer to you than ever before 🤭

Mic’d Moments | Rep Workshop with Kannen Glanz 🎤🎙️

At the start of every season our company artists work closely with our sister company SALT2 through workshops to introduce them to the SALT Repertoire. We mic’d Kannen up as he taught SALT2 various solos of his from @noellekayser latest work for the company Time Comprises a Net! 🧂✨

It’s always a very wholesome couple of days so enjoy a bit of what the beginning of our season looked like 🙂‍↕️🙌🏼

We are thrilled to announce that SALT Contemporary Dance is now based in Salt Lake City at both Millenium Dance Complex and Ballet West Academy in Trolley Square! 😭👏🏼👀

SALT has been based in Utah County in Pleasant Grove for 6 seasons, but we are ready to start a new era for Season 14. There are so many exciting opportunities coming soon, so stay tuned for even more of SALT.
