Salty Chicas is a feel-good, empowering community for adventurous women who want to surf, try something new, and find their crew. 🌸

It’s not just about surfing - although we absolutely love the ocean.

It’s about creating a space where women can show up exactly as they are - you don’t need experience, you just need a little curiosity and an open heart. ♥️

We host women-only surf retreats in Fuerteventura, Madeira and Morocco, in small, cozy groups of women.

Most women arrive solo, which can feel a little scary at first - but they leave with real friendships. 🫂

Our all-female team leads daily surf lessons, yoga, skate session, and island adventures - making sure everyone feels supported and confident.

It’s a very encouraging, no-pressure environment.

It’s also about the little things: staying together in a beautiful surf villa, sharing meals, laughing after a long day in the ocean, and creating that feeling of sisterhood.

There’s something really powerful about a group of women cheering each other on - it creates such a strong bond.

It’s really about riding waves, yes - but even more, it’s about riding them together. 🏄‍♀️✨

MEET SALTY CHICAS - KENZA our surf instructor 🏄‍♀️ 🇲🇦

‘’I’m Kenza, a Moroccan surfer and surf guide based in Agadir & Taghazout. I grew up surrounded by the ocean, and surfing has been a big part of my life for the past few years. What started as a love for riding waves slowly turned into a lifestyle. Travelling, discovering new surf spots and always finding my way back to the ocean.

As a local female surfer, I love sharing the Moroccan coast with others, from finding the right waves to discovering the local surf culture. Meet Lupi 🧘‍♀️ our yoga instructor and 3-10 Oct 2026 retreat organiser 💜 @tribu.om.flow

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Lupi was 25 when the mountains called her south to Patagonia — opening a completely new chapter of her life and a love story with wild nature that has never really ended.

A certified yoga teacher, designer by background and endlessly curious human, her world moves somewhere between yoga, nature, outdoor adventures, boards, colors, lines and dots. She explores life through breath, conscious movement and observing the mind — but just as much through getting on a skateboard, jumping into a lake, chasing sunsets, drawing, travelling, dancing, spending nights watching shooting stars and connecting with people from all over the world.
And connection comes quite naturally to her. Lupi has a special talent for making friends pretty much anywhere… probably even with the rocks.

Her own journey hasn’t always felt so grounded.
For years, she moved through life searching outside herself, often feeling lost and letting life choose the direction. With a little more experience — and quite a lot of water under the bridge — she has learned that flowing doesn’t mean drifting. It means knowing when to root, when to let go, and how to keep moving with life without losing yourself along the way.

She has also learned to make space for both her light and her shadows. Perhaps that’s why she finds beauty almost everywhere.

To Lupi, life is one big playground — full of people, experiences, fears and challenges that can become our greatest teachers, especially the ones we would rather run away from.

At Salty Chicas, Lupi brings all of this into what she shares: an invitation to breathe, move, play, feel, connect and explore.

Because life isn’t about having it all figured out. Maybe it’s about learning how to root yourself, trust the flow, and enjoy the ride.
