Went to Marshland Restaurant tonight for dinner, and boy, was I surprised—Chef Isaac was back in action! He served up the best meal I’ve ever had at Marshland: Chicken Francese, a lightly breaded chicken breast with a white wine sauce, served with mashed potatoes and corn.

By the time I realized I should share this meal online, I’d already finished it! The photo here is one I found online and had edited to more closely resemble what I was served.

This dish deserves a permanent spot on the menu! Two thumbs up to Chef Isaac! by @saltyroos

Some creative parking on display at CVS today. Apparently, the curb is just a suggestion. 😂 by @saltyroos

Let’s give a BIG shoutout to my nephew James—aka Big Daddy—and his handsome little man, Hunter Thomas! It looks like Hunter already has his daddy wrapped around his tiny finger…and that wink tells us he knows it! by @saltyroos

Staying on this side of the bridge tonight, so there was only one logical stop… Marshland in Plymouth!

Kicking off the Fourth of July with a classic meal: a grilled hot dog, creamy red potato salad, fresh summer squash, and a few pickles to round it all out. Sometimes the best holiday weekend meals aren’t fancy, they’re just good comfort food done right.

Happy Fourth of July weekend, everyone! Stay safe, enjoy the food, and make some great memories. taken in Marshland Restaurant and Bakeries, Plymouth, Ma by @saltyroos

Happy Father’s Day, Dad.

I caught myself thinking about you again today. Truth is, I think about you every day.

Sometimes it’s a story that makes me laugh, sometimes it’s something I see that I know you’d have a comment about, and sometimes I just wish I could sit with you for a little while and hear your voice one more time.

You never had to give long speeches. You taught me by the way you lived. Work hard, keep your word, take care of the people you love, and when life knocks you down, get back up and keep going. I carry those lessons with me every single day, even when I don’t realize it.

Thank you for always believing in me and for being the kind of dad a son could look up to. The older I get, the more I appreciate everything you did and everything you quietly sacrificed for our family.

I miss you more than words can say, but I hope you’d be proud of the person I’m still trying to become.

Happy Father’s Day, Dad.

I love you, I miss you, and I’ll be thinking of you today… just like I always do. by @saltyroos

Quarterback James Cahoon was dropping dimes all night, putting the Shark bite on the competition in a 43–32 win. Backed by a stylish crew bringing the energy in the stands, it was a full-arena takeover—Fear the Fin! by @saltyroos

Step right up and witness QB James Cahoon launching footballs like heat-seeking missiles while the Sharks turn the field into a full-blown chaos carnival.
This isn’t a game, it’s a popcorn-flying, high-five-exploding spectacle.
Grab a friend and cash in that Bring-A-Friend perk because this madness demands witnesses.
Show up loud, leave louder, and prepare to say “did that just happen?!” at least seven times. by @saltyroos

GAMEDAY – LET’S GO SHARKS!

The Jacksonville Sharks are on the road today with a 4PM EST kickoff in Quad City against the Quad City Steamwheelers.

Leading the charge is Quarterback James Cahoon—a steady presence under center who brings poise, leadership, and the ability to make plays when it matters most. Whether it’s managing the game, extending drives, or delivering in key moments, Cahoon will be a big factor in setting the tone for the Sharks’ offense today.

This is an important road test, and the Sharks will be looking for a strong, disciplined performance from start to finish.

Let’s get it done. Go Sharks. by @saltyroos
