🚪 FROM STAINED SLABS ➡️ SHOWROOM FINISH 🔥

Our team worked tirelessly all week transforming these previously solid-stained mahogany door slabs into a finish we’re seriously proud of.

This door package was all about the prep:

🛠️ Three coats of @zinsser bin primer
🛠️ Plenty of @bondo glazing putty between coats
🛠️ Sanding, filling, refining and repeating until everything was dialed in
🎯 @stadelmaierb orchestrating the operation from start to finish
🔫 Tommy Guns laying down two beautiful finish coats of @geminiindustries EVO inside our portable @paintlineco spray booth

Huge thanks to our trade partners at @salvo_construction for helping us create the proper positive and negative airflow, along with an air-conditioned, dust-free environment that gave our crew the conditions needed to achieve a picture-perfect sprayed finish. 🤌

When you’re chasing this level of finish, the final coat is only as good as everything that happened before it.

Prep. Process. Environment. Execution. 💪🎨

🔥 PROJECT KICKOFF ON THE YORK RIVER 🔥

4,000+ sqft full home renovation underway in beautiful York, Maine — and we’re starting it the right way.

🎯 Spraying 2 full coats of INSL-X Stix High Build Primer
🎯 3/4” sheetrock dialed in and sealed tight
🎯 Building the foundation for a flawless topcoat finish

When you’re overlooking the York River, the standard isn’t “good enough.” It’s perfect adhesion, uniform build, and a substrate that’s ready to perform for years to come.

High build. High performance. Zero shortcuts.

This is how we set the tone for a luxury renovation from day one. 💪

Quality in every corner. Using Acre trim stock and a miter lock bit on the router table, these porch columns are engineered for strength and longevity. The miter lock joint increases adhesive surface area and structural integrity, creating a clean, seamless look that stands up to moisture and temperature changes over time. #customhomes#yorkme @acre.group @modern.mill by @salvo_construction

A spotlight on the mechanical rooms of the barn:

Two air handlers, one for the living space upstairs and one for the garage, run off of @rheem heat pumps. These provide efficient air conditioning and heating down to a set exterior temperature, at which point the heat source comes from the @viessmann_us wall mounted boiler.

The garage radiant floor and domestic hot water are also run from the boiler to conserve space in the mechanical room.
