The metamorphosis of a scar❤️‍🩹.
A new entry to my tattoo journaling series“𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆“ . I have found the sweetest spot between my job, my love for photography and having to work in my social media which used to give me so much anxiety. I now am excited to share this series and how special the connection to my clients and their tattoos and my work is . I hope you enjoy taking a deeper dive with me.

ps. I wish I had time to do this for every single tattoo. Sadly it takes too much of my time to create content and the opportunity doesn’t always present itself. If you are a client that wants to be part of it just dm me and we can plan for more time:). by @sam.animal

Another post for my series “𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆“ , where I get to journal about my clients and their tattoos.
For me, It’s a form of connection beyond just a tattoo appointment. We always have reasons why we do things, sometimes it’s just because we like something, sometimes it’s just because we want to feel something. It’s a conversation starter and also gives me more intention when I’m working. So inspiring! Thank you for trusting me Brett!

I truly enjoy tattooing orcas. This yin and yang inspired tattoo gave me a chance to play with shading that I’ve seen in some B1 orca pods in Antarctica. They way this apex predator has evolved is truly magical to me. They have developed different specialized hunting techniques depending on the region they live in. You probably have seen these type of orcas hunting using wave-washing skills learned and passed through generations were they use a formation to create waves and knock seals off the ice. Truly cool and terrifying. Anyways, some have some pretty interesting shades of grey that I would love to keep tattooing! So bring me more orcas! I love getting the chance to tattoo the same animal with its own unique pattern or color. Not one ever is the same.
