[update: $1988/$2500 has been met]

hiii friends,, long time no chittychat 🙂‍↕️ i’ve been gearing up to share this big news!! after a long awaited time, i am scheduled for phallo this upcoming dec 2026!! there’s a lot of very big feels wrapped up in this and i know ultimately that i will feel much freer & more aligned in this body of mine. i feel grateful to be able to access such life altering gender affirming care - i know lil boy sam would’ve neverrrrrrr ever guessed that this !!! was possible in my lifetime

all this to say, this will be quite an extensive, intensive & expen$ive journey. Liv and i will be relocating near-ish to the bay area to be closer to my surgeon’s office through the duration of this surgery to ease my medical anxieties. i’ve been working multiple jobs the past few months to be able to save up funds for this move and surgery costs. i’m looking to raise $2.5k to go towards: $1k to overall cost of deductible ($4.5k), $500 to recovery supplies, and $1k for rent support as liv (my beautiful n loving n stunning caretaker and wife to be and love of my life 5ever) will not have worked enough for PTO during my recovery time

i grieve because i know the depths of love // to grieve is to know love deeply

our hearts forever change and imprint and shape with the loves we experience. our literal gene expression / epigenetics changes through love, and how can we not grieve with our whole being and hearts when the people who have shown us the epigenetics-altering kind of love is no longer earthside?? how does the world not just stop in it’s tracks?

hi y’all! it’s been a hot minute since i’ve been on here. i’m trying to shift the ways i create and am still in the process of that 🦕🌀🥣🔹📘🫐

for now, i wanted to share a sticker + print sale to support Tamara in being able to reach a 15k goal to have Ethel, her mom’s transition into the ancestral realm as supported and loving as possible. the u.s. funeral industry is a multi-Billion dollar industry, and it is another raging deep heartbreak to have to navigate this while trying to celebrate the big life of our beloveds who have forever permanently altered and shaped the love we deserve & know to be true in our lives.

Today's featured artist is sam Jungwoo @sam.doodles , who interpreted our February theme, Food is Love. In their artist statement about Food is Love, sam writes:

"This felt piece 'Food is Love' is a reflection of the ways food has served as a catalyst and a source for connection — connecting us with one another, connecting us to our diaspora, connecting us to movements. Food is inherent to our nourishment as Love is.

It says in Korean, 'Eat up' or 'Eat lots', which I hear every time I visit my mom, every time I think back to eating on the living room floors with my grandparents. I hear this from my friends who make delicious hotpot and shares abundantly, from childhood friends who make spicy tuna rice balls because they know it’s my favorite.

This piece lends to feeling abundant, in being able to resource and nourish our loved ones, and to understanding that capitalism and imperialism makes access to food and connection difficult, and yet, we continue to find abundance in many forms when we gather and break bread together."

8 years of running my hand on my chest, a new soothing mechanism! thinking about trans people everywhere facing impossible violent ugly realities. thinking about trans people becoming a place to land for themselves and each other. thinking about trans people still choosing to live another day, to breathe another day, all for the possibility of experiencing what we all deserve to experience in our bodies- freedom

we are all stars, you see
we have burned and reignited and reshaped
a hundred thousand million times
again and again and again
and we deserve to remember that
we are all things at all times —
the future where our descendants of descendants will squeal and holler in our chest cavities, the past where our tissue formed from the handprints of our kin and the present where we are a shelter for each other to come undone
