To the place that shaped me,

It’s hard to put into words what the last eight years have meant to me. From the moment I first stepped on campus as a student athlete to the day I proudly stood on the sideline as a coach, you have been a constant in my life. My home, my challenge, my passion, and my purpose. For four years as a player, you shaped me. You taught me discipline, resilience, and what it truly means to fight for something bigger than myself. You gave me teammates who turned into sisters and memories that still make me smile on the toughest days. Every practice, every bus ride, every win and loss helped build the person I am today.

For four more years as a coach, you transformed me. You allowed me to give back to the program that raised me. You taught me patience, leadership, and how to love the game and its people, even more deeply. Watching athletes grow, find their confidence, and write their own stories has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

Tiffin Volleyball, you have been more than a program. You’ve been my family, my growth, and my greatest classroom. You’ve celebrated my highs and carried me through my lows. Thank you for every lesson. Every opportunity. Every moment.

As I prepare to say goodbye to Tiffin University, I find it difficult to capture what this place has meant to me over the past eight years. TU has been far more than a campus where I studied and worked, it has been my home, a place where I grew, struggled, discovered my strengths, and learned to believe in who I could become. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of my story here.

Most of all, thank you to every person who, in ways big and small, shaped me into the person I am today. You taught me resilience when things were hard, humility when I succeeded, and compassion in how I treat others. I will carry those lessons with me wherever life takes me next.

Leaving a place that has held so many memories is not easy, but I do so with a full heart and deep gratitude. Tiffin University will always be a part of my story, and I will forever be proud to have called it home. I may be closing this chapter, but I’ll always be a Dragon 🐲🫶

I’ve been thinking of how to put my feelings into words but when it comes to someone who has had a such an impact on your life for the past 23 years it becomes a little difficult.

My grandma was the strongest person I know. The sweetest kindest human you would ever meet. She was someone who put everyone else a head of herself. On April 30th, 2023 heaven gain a beautiful angel. With that being said

To the strongest woman I know,
Thank you for loving me unconditionally, thank you for allowing to be myself and loving me for that, thank you for being the brightest light in my life. If you didn’t know my grandma I feel sorry for you. She was the most amazing woman I have ever met. Truly my role model through life.
