Surprised by this big mention from @kanteh_fatou10 on @marca Just as I had connections with a lot of Africans born in Europe and often feel a great sense of fulfilment helping a few connect to their ancestral roots for possible international representation. In 2019, I linked up with the young striker born in Spain to a Gambian mother and Senegalese father, on consistently seeing her exploits at former side Logrono and now with Sporting Heulva. After Senegal's foot dragged, Gambia jumped at the opportunity and Fatoumata went on to reward the Scorpion's trust with an instant impact, guaranteeing their progression to the second round of the @cafwomenfootball qualifiers, with her lone second leg goal. Thanks for the acknowledgement, Fatou. I know for sure your best days are yet to come! Keep shining! ❤️🙌🤗 #media #journalism #sports #sportjournalism by @sam4wigan

I am humbled and honoured to receive my appointment as Special Assistant on Media to the new Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC). I sincerely appreciate the confidence reposed in me by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Hulayat Motunrayo Omidiran. I accept this responsibility with a firm commitment to professionalism, strategic communication, and the effective projection of the Commission’s constitutional mandate. While I deeply value my long-standing connection with football and the sporting community, this appointment represents a renewed call to national service. I am fully dedicated to advancing transparency, equity, and institutional excellence in line with the FCC’s guiding principles.
