Can you believe it? Alan and the Rulers of the Air will be in theaters October 26th. 🤗 The entire @thealansaga has been a labor of love, blessings, and dedicated work since 2018. I am so proud of @markus.ccook for his vision and the entire cast and crew of @alanfilm_ for their talents! The red carpet premiere will be Sunday 22nd October and tickets are available on eventbrite.

Make sure you watch Alan and the Fullness of Time on Amazon Prime before attending the premiere. Here is a behind-the-scenes clip and the final edit. by @sam_bams

Thank you to every single last one of you for this! So amazed I got to work with brilliant people whose efforts spanned from the US to the UK. This win will boost our efforts in producing the show in London. Grateful to Miss Betty, Isaiah and Michelle you all deserve these flowers 🌹🌹🌹 by @sam_bams

What started as a conversation about the lack of Afro-textured hair education in our industry has developed into something we’re incredibly proud of — and now we’re taking our masterclass to Chicago.

On August 29, we’ll be joining @wifilmchicago Women in Film Chicago and @cameraambassador Camera Ambassador for a hands-on Afro and textured hair masterclass for HMU artists, hairstylists, film crew and industry advocates.

You won’t just watch — you’ll get to practice techniques including cornrowing, braiding and detangling, ask questions and build practical skills you can take to set and so much more!

And the event is donation-based, with contributions supporting our educational work through Lights, Camera, Afro.

I’m so excited to bring this work to Chicago.
August 29 | 1–5 PM | Chicago

If you’re in the area, come join us.
