Heart is full, Hand is heavy🤎

Palo Duro Canyon is where I brought him for our second ever date and will now always hold a huge place in our hearts!

As most of you know, my dad, Jeff Weaver, passed away when I was just 2 years old. This is the ring he gave my mom when they got married, and I always knew I wanted to carry a piece of him with me on one of the biggest days of my life.

My mom passed the ring down to us so we could reimagine it into my engagement ring. It’s made with the exact same gold and the original diamonds, along with one new center diamond. We also set aside a few of the smaller diamonds so my mom can have a special piece, and so my brother can one day incorporate them into his wedding band.

Sam and I, on a whim, took it to the jeweler on February 25th with a vision of bringing new life to something that already meant so much to us. Four months later, here we are, and I couldn’t love it more. Every detail is exactly what I dreamed of, and every time I look at it, I’m reminded of where it came from and the love it represents.

Every bit of this ring is natural and from God’s creation, and every part of it tells a story. It’s more than an engagement ring—it’s decades of love, family, memories, and God’s perfect plan! I’m so grateful to carry that legacy with me every day. I love every bit of this ring and our story, and I truly wouldn’t change a single thing. 🤍

Happy 2 years, (even though I’ve known you for longer), to the girl who came into my life right when I needed her. I think it is obvious the light that you shine into my life, and for that I want to say thank you. God knew what he was doing when he blessed me with you. Your unconditional love and support is something that I will never take for granted. I can’t wait to make more memories and to continue celebrating this amazing life with you.
