Final weekend to catch my paintings in person at 431 Washington Street, at the new Charles Moffett Gallery. We’re open Friday and Saturday, 12-6pm.

The exhibition is a short walk from the art fairs in town this weekend. Feel free to DM me if you’d like to meet me at the exhibition.

DK- My paintings in the Danish paper Weekendavisen, alongside a wonderful essay by poet Cecilie Lind.

The theme of the this week’s Kultur section is the contemporary Danish perspective of the US and NYC, and it’s an honor to be included and contribute.

“Having grown up in New York in the 80s and 90s, I have wonderful early memories of raw and joyful creativity of the people around me. The city made way for artistic thought that did not have to be indebted to the need to make it here, but rather experimentation and therefore unadulterated creative liberties. Around me were adult artists, musicians and filmmakers making surprising stuff in weird spaces. Everything seemed very loose and eclectic, comparatively less conformist and safe, and there were so many alternate venues.“ @sam_born_stein
