Hey folks, bit of a different type of post today.

Today I met NH-01 Democratic Primary candidate Carleigh Beriont at a house party and asked her about her stance on Israel.

The first question I asked was about her stance on sending Israel weapons. I was pleasantly surprised to see that she flip-flopped on this issue and is now supporting a total arms embargo, which is the only moral stance here.

As for her answer regarding ending Israel apartheid, I was less impressed. I asked her if she believes that Israel must remain a Jewish majority state (something necessary for Israeli apartheid), and she said that it was not the job of the US to decide that. When I then asked her if that means she doesn’t support the right of Palestinian people to return to so-called “Israel”, she avoided the question, instead saying she supports self-determination for Palestinians. What she doesn’t seem to understand is that self-determination for Palestinians includes getting back all of the land Israel stole from them.

She also does not say anywhere on her website that we should halt all arms to Israel. She changes her stances a lot, so maybe she hasn’t had time to update her website. Regardless, I find it difficult to believe in her commitment to ending Israeli apartheid and the genocide of Palestinians when she alters her platform so much.

She is still the best candidate in this race… but the bar is literally in Hell, so that’s not a hard title to win. We have a lot of work to do as Granite Staters. She should not be the best candidate in this race. We should have an anti-Zionist candidate.

From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free 🇵🇸

*note* I had to re-upload this because the video was cut off. My apologies about that.
