That was so much freaking fun — 2nd World Major alongside two of my best friends, how lucky are we?!

Beyond grateful for this sport and everything that running has brought me. Marathon weekends are just pure joy; people showing up for each other and keeping the promises they made to themselves, doesn’t get much better than this.

My cup is still overflowing from @htcrelay with @goodgriefrunning last weekend —

200 miles, 24 hours in a van, 13 incredible humans, and over 12k raised for cancer research.

It’s hard to put into words how much these weekends can impact you; no cell service, being fully present with your people doing hard things together. Beyond grateful for this experience and for this community.

Heaven gained another beautiful angel yesterday 🤍

My dad, my hero, my rock. I will never understand why, but here is what I do know to be true: you were a fighter in every sense of the word. Your resilience, grit, and downright stubbornness was something I have always admired about you. It was clear how much you loved your family and how you did whatever it took to make sure Sarah and I were taken care of. You were always so passionate about your work, and ever since I could remember I thought it was the coolest thing that MY dad could build a house from scratch or redesign a kitchen just from memory. You loved the beach, especially sunsets in Florida, and your happy place included a piña colada at Woodys with your family and friends. You were the world’s pickiest eater, but spaghetti and meatballs or a donut from Tim Hortons would do the trick. Hallmark Christmas movies were played year round - because who doesn’t love a happy ending? And vintage cars were your favorite; driving around in your yellow Mustang convertible as a kid is one of my very first and favorite memories. You always knew how to make people laugh - you were a prankster in the truest sense and never took life too seriously.

Dad, words will never be able to describe how much I love you or how grateful I am to be your daughter. I miss you so much already. Thank you for being the best father I could ask for, and for teaching me about perseverance and strength. It brings me peace knowing that you are reunited with Mom in Heaven, and I know we’ll all be together again someday.
