How's your physical TBR going?? The excitement of having a moment to read from my own bookshelf instead of the ARC hole I dug myself. Entering fall with @onceuponabookclubbox Sept 2025 YA book box - Love Harvest! This adorable YA romance was the perfect way to keep off cozy season. The innocence that is broken when Ellis' hero betrays her but the brightness that comes when she allows and accepts that sometimes change isn't all bad, and hero's are not always the one you placed on a pedestal. It had the double effect of finally reading book 2 for the year off my own shelf and my first 10 before the end read! 💛 #FallingLikeLeaves #YARomance #CozySeason #ShelfClearing #10BeforeTheEnd by @sam_readerofbooks

Spooky season special editions! Thank you @stmartinspress and @wednesdaybooks for the stunningly gorgeous special edition of the House of Night 1-4 series by @pccastauthor and @kcastauthor Question of the day What spooky season book(s) are you hoping to read? Join me in celebrating 20 years of House of Night! Summary When 16-year-old Zoey Redbird is Marked by a vampyre tracker and begins to undergo the Change into an actual vampyre, she has to leave behind her family in Tulsa and move into the House of Night, a boarding school for other fledglings like her. It's tough to begin a new life, away from her parents and friends, and on top of that, Zoey finds she is no average fledgling. She has been singled out by the vampyre Goddess, Nyx. Although Zoey has awesome new powers, it's not so easy to fit in when everyone knows you're "special" – and some people wish you weren't.... As Zoey tries to make new friends and maybe find a hot boyfriend (or three), she comes up against all kinds of evil, from the perfect-looking, super-popular girl with not-so-innocent plans, to the mysterious deaths happening at the House of Night and all over Tulsa, and the beautiful high priestess, Neferet, who seems to have Zoey's best interests at heart…or does she? Things at the House of Night are rarely what they seem. Can Zoey find the courage deep within herself to find the truth and embrace her destiny? 🧛‍♀️ #HouseOfNight #Unboxing #SpecialEditions #SpookySeason #WednesdayBooks by @sam_readerofbooks

Book Tour Time! Title: This Changes Everything Author: @daniellemckechnie Pub date: September 8, 2026 Thank you @harperperennial and @bibliolifestyle for my gifted copy! Question of the day How's your week been? Synopsis An aspiring actor caught in the Hollywood rollercoaster is torn between following her dreams and choosing between two of her own leading men—her childhood sweetheart and the one who got away, or the fellow actor who understands just what she’s fighting for. A funny, sexy and heartfelt romance for readers of Yulin Kuang, Rebecca Serle and Emily Henry. Ellie McCain has always dreamed of a bigger life, so when she’s accepted into a prestigious acting school in New York City, she packs her bags—even if it means leaving her family, her friends, and Rory Campbell, the boy who held her heart for years, behind. At first, life in New York is even better than she’d dreamed it would be—she loves her classes, she gets a position at a fancy production company, and she’s even falling in love with her classmate-turned-roommate-turned-best friend, Ben. But soon the shine starts to wear off: her boss has made it clear that the only role he’ll be casting her in is “Unpaid Intern 3”, and while she’s happy that Ben’s career is starting to take off, she’s struggling to stay afloat. And it doesn’t help that everyone around her seems to be passing her by—even her childhood sweetheart, Rory, is living out his dreams as a Professional Golfer. But when she runs into Rory for the first time in ten years, she starts to wonder what exactly it is she’s running from, where is she going, and who is running with her. Told in alternating timelines of the past and present and moving between Vancouver, New York, and Los Angeles, This Changes Everything is the story of love—first love, one-that-got-away-love, and true love—and asks if maybe, just maybe, all of those loves can be one and the same. ⭐️ #ThisChangesEverything #BookTour #FriendsToLovers #DualTimeline #BookRecs by @sam_readerofbooks

Book 63 of the In Death series is out now! Thank you @stmartinspress for my advanced reader copy of Fury In Death by @jdrobbauthor Question of the day What's the series or author have you read the longest? Review That JD Robb is still writing Eve Dallas stories for us is one of my favorite book things ever! Each book grows the world Eve lives in and we get the joy of riding along with her. I always love seeing the mix of kicka$$ female detective with the softer compassionate side, even if sometimes it's brought on by Roarke's encouragement. Eve understands people better than most, even if she doesn't always understand why. But she knows the fury behind these murders were brought on by something greater than everyday hatred or random acts of violence. As Eve learns and understands her murderer, she also understands the why of his chosen victims. Every book in this series is such a twisty amazing world of power, futuristic tech, and simple fun. ⭐️ #FuryInDeath #BookReview #MustRead #InDeathSeries #StMartinsPress. by @sam_readerofbooks
