POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

October 22nd: Liʻulā ~ Cross Into the Mirage. One night only.

Liʻulā is the Hawaiian word for dusk. The twilight hour when light turns soft and uncertain, and shadows begin to move on their own.

On Thursday, Oct 22nd, step through the veil and embark on a full sensory experience.

Drawing from my new album, I’ll use atmospheric harmonics and unconventional ukulele tunings to guide you through stories about Night marchers, sirens, and wandering souls from Old Hawaiʻi. Is what you’re seeing really there?

Inside the 104-year-old Hawaii Theatre, a venue that’s kept its own century of ghosts, I’ll be joined by a grand ensemble to carry us through the twilight hour.

✦ Samadhi Hawaii - aerial performance suspending the mirage
✦ Kealoha - spoken word bringing the night to life
✦ Contemporary Dancers - movement grounding the supernatural
✦ Polynesian Dancers - hula carrying ancestral voices

My last theatrical show was 3 years ago (HAWAIKI).
I look forward to bringing this new album and chapter into reality with you soon.

Thurs, October 22 · @hawaiitheatre, Honolulu
Outer Doors: 6:00pm
Inner Doors: 6:30pm
Show: 7:00pm
