POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I honestly didn’t expect the September tour to become what it did🤍

Somehow, we gathered the most beautiful group of people — and there was so much love, kindness, laughter and genuine support between everyone. We travelled together, helped together, met the elderly people we support, shared meals, stories and countless little moments that I know I’ll carry with me for a very long time.

And when the tour ended, I knew one thing for certain: I want to do it again.

So I’m bringing Art of Kindness Tours back in 2027 — but only twice.

I have many new projects and dreams I want to bring to life, so I simply don’t have the time to run many tours throughout the year. Instead, I want to keep these journeys small, personal and truly meaningful.

✨ 15–23 March 2027 (4 spots left)
✨ 19–27 September 2027 (5 spots left)

Two journeys. Two groups. 6 people max. Nine days in Cambodia that I hope will stay with you long after you return home.

And maybe, just like it happened to us in September, you’ll arrive as strangers — and leave as family🤍

We’ve been connected here for quite some time, but I realized that not many of you do not know what my life looked like before this blog started two years ago — or before I began drawing five years ago.

Back then, my days were filled with charity work, creating and running different projects, managing my own business. I led online school, organized events, hosted and decorated dinners and turned ideas into living, beautiful stories. It was a whirlwind, but every step carried a seed that would eventually grow into what I’m doing now.

This is just chapter one. The next one is on its way. by @samalia.swan

This is Part II of my story :)
(The first part is in the feed)

After all these years I came to one main insight: the only true guide in our life is our heart. It always leads us exactly where we need to go, because our heart is a direct connection to God. It is our divine compass, which never sells out. The mind constantly tells us how to live, what is better, what is worse, what is right, what is wrong, what would be reasonable and logical to do now. But the heart does not follow logic, it cannot be controlled, it cannot be explained — it simply lives. And it is free.

In my life, there has not been a single mistake, only the continual refinement of that very path toward my true self. And yes, this path still continues, and it is amazing — as amazing as life itself and the entire universe. I am endlessly grateful to God and to life for existence. It is astonishing and beautiful. Thank you❤️ by @samalia.swan

For the past two years, our fund has been supporting elderly people in Cambodia: bringing them food, providing monthly support, helping with medical care, building houses, and simply being there when they need someone.

We started with what seemed like the most basic needs: food, medicine, and a safe roof over their heads.

But as we spent more time with the grannies and grandpas we care for, we began to see a deeper problem.

Some of them are living completely alone. Some have no family nearby. Some have a roof over their heads, but no one to share a meal with, no one to talk to, and no one to turn to when they are sick or simply need help.

We realized that for some elderly people, food and financial support are not enough.

They need a place where they can feel safe. Where someone will notice when they are not feeling well. Where they can eat together, talk, laugh, rest, create, and simply feel that they belong.

This is why we are building Art of Kindness — A Community Home for Elderly People in Cambodia.

It will be a small, peaceful community where elderly people who have no one to care for them can live with dignity, surrounded by care and companionship.

There will be homes, shared dining and kitchen spaces, gardens, places to create and spend time together, and a small team providing daily care and support.

This project is not about building a big institution.

It is about creating a home.

A place where getting older does not have to mean becoming invisible or alone.

We are building it step by step. And we need your help to make it real. ❤️

Granny Voeun lives alone in a small, remote village in Cambodia.

For the past five months, our fund has been bringing her groceries. Her house is now tilted and unsafe, and she can no longer cook for herself. Her neighbours help when they can, but she still spends most of her days alone.

And Granny Voeun is not the only one.

There are many elderly people in rural Cambodia who live alone, often in unsafe homes, without regular access to nutritious food, companionship, or a community around them.

That’s why we decided to create Art of Kindness Home, a small community home for elderly people.

It won’t be a traditional elderly care facility. It will be a living community where everyone can contribute in their own way: cooking, gardening, sharing skills, stories and everyday life together.

It will also be a place for cultural exchange, where volunteers and visitors from around the world can come to spend time with the residents, learn from them, and become part of the community.

We have found the land and are now raising funds to make this project a reality. This will be the first Art of Kindness Home, and we hope it will become a model that we can eventually bring to more communities.

We have opened the fundraising campaign, and every contribution brings us one step closer to opening the doors.

If you would like to be part of it, you can find the project and support the campaign through the link in my bio❤️

Thank you for believing that everyone deserves to grow old with dignity, connection, and a sense of belonging. by @samalia.swan

ИСКУССТВО ВИДЕТЬ ЛЮДЕЙ
Авторский вечер с Samalia Swan @samalia.swan

Grandma Chin has spent most of her life alone and without a stable home.

Today, thanks to your kindness and support, her story has a new chapter❤️

After months of work, Grandma’s new home is finally complete.

This is more than just a house — it is a place where she can feel safe, peaceful, and cared for.

We prepared everything needed for her comfort: essential furniture, dishes and household items, a fan to keep the house cool, and safe stairs with railings. We also created natural ramps around the veranda to make walking and entering the house easier.

Some people may notice that the house does not have an indoor kitchen or bathroom. This is because Grandma has lived her entire life cooking outdoors, preparing food over charcoal, and following simple traditional ways of living.

We wanted to build a home that respects her lifestyle and feels familiar to her❤️

The toilet and shower area were built outside the house, just as they are traditionally arranged in many rural Cambodian homes.

The most important thing was to give Grandma a safe, comfortable, and dignified place to rest.

We also placed a wooden sign on the house with the name of our foundation and a special thank you to our biggest supporters who helped make this dream possible.

This home became real because of your love, support, and belief in our mission.

Together, we gave Grandma something every person deserves:
❤️ Safety
❤️ Dignity
❤️ A place to call home

Thank you for being part of Grandma Chin’s journey❤️

❤️ One year of caring for the elderly in Cambodian villages ❤️

One year ago, we started with a simple idea: to bring care, kindness, and hope to elderly people who had been forgotten.

Today, we provide food, monthly pensions, medical support, and, most importantly, remind them that they are not alone. Thanks to your support, we even built a new home for one of our beneficiaries🏠❤️

Over the past year, our program grew from helping elderly people with no family to supporting those whose children had to leave to find work, as well as families who are struggling to survive themselves. We expanded into neighboring villages and welcomed new beneficiaries recommended by local people who knew who needed help most.

This year, we also shared moments of joy through two special community gatherings filled with food, laughter, and connection.

One year in numbers:

❤️ 40+ lives changed
🥕 350+ food baskets delivered
💛 7 people receiving monthly pensions
🩺 3 people receiving ongoing medical support
🍵 2 community gatherings

This program was meant to last just one year. But these elderly people became like family to us, and we knew we couldn’t stop. We are committed to continuing this journey for years to come.

Thank you for walking this journey with us. Every donation helps us prepare another food basket and ensures that another elderly person is cared for next month🙏🏼

We are the Art of Kindness Granny Thuy Charity Fund, a charity fund helping elderly people living in hardship in rural Cambodia.

Every month we provide food, medicine, community gatherings, and now, when possible, we build safe homes for those who have nowhere to live.

Thank you to our donors who made Grandma Chin’s new home possible❤️ Tijana Todorovska, Patricia Mahoney, Clifford Chi, Chinda Alaniz, Bo Lingam, Sarath Chhom, Cedric Aung, Juliet Fabro, and many other kind hearts who contributed to this project❤️

If you’d like to be part of our mission, follow our journey and help us bring dignity, safety, and hope to more elderly people in Cambodia😌

P.S.: This footage shows the house before it was fully completed. It now has gently sloped ramps on both sides, as well as front steps with handrails. by @samalia.swan

This story got continued. Watch the pinned reel on my page🙏🏼😌

Posting this beautiful story one year after she passed away❤️

I drew her portrait at a market in Thailand almost two years ago. I didn’t know that moment would change both her life and mine forever.

Her name was Grandma Thuy, and she became the first person my followers and I helped 🦢

A week after I drew her, I met her again and discovered she had debts and was working every day collecting bottles. We raised money for her, cleared her debts, renovated her house, bought some essentials, and set up a monthly pension for her.

She and her story inspired me to create a charity fund for elderly people in Asia, where many older people live alone without government support.

In August 2024, I helped my first grandmother in Cambodia. Today, we support more than 30 elderly people, most of whom are alone or cannot be cared for by their families.

In May 2025, Grandma Thuy passed away 💔, but her spirit lives on through the charity fund named in her honor.

One drawing started it all.

If this story touched your heart, I’d love for you to join our journey ❤️✨ by @samalia.swan

CHARITY AUCTION IS CLOSED✅

100% of the proceeds will go to our charity foundation, helping elderly people in Cambodia.

Starting bid: $500

To place a bid, write it in the comments or send me a message.

Exactly one year ago, our beloved Grandma Thuy passed away. She will be forever in our hearts.

When I was going through a very difficult time this February, Grandma Thuy came to me in my dream, she was among colourful tropical flowers. She seemed to be glowing from within and smiling, it was an energy of life and joy, in which I suddenly remembered my true nature, the one you tend to forget in the hardest moments. When I woke up I realised I absolutely had to paint it.

It was my first time working with oil paints. This is my first oil painting. I tried to capture that exact feeling from the dream 🌿

Size: A1
Medium: Oil on canvas

Let this painting continue her light ✨ by @samalia.swan
