The Big Old Tree 🌳

Beneath the branches, wide and tall, The children laugh, the birdsong calls. They climb, they dream, they laugh, they play, While golden sunlight lights their day.

An ancient tree, so strong and wise, Holds little wonders in its skies. And as they grow, its roots run deep, A thousand memories it will keep. by @samanaecolodge

☀️ Learning outside, under the sun, where little minds grow alongside nature. 🌿

At Forest Academy Samaná, we believe some of the best lessons happen beyond four walls with bare feet on the earth, sunshine on our faces, and the freedom to explore, discover, and let curiosity lead the way.

There is something truly magical about watching children play in nature. Climbing trees, running barefoot through the grass, building little worlds from sticks and stones, getting muddy, chasing butterflies, and discovering the wonders of the world around them.

This land,
Holds many stories
The terrain
Has seen so much change
Time comes & goes,
And if the trees could speak
They would tell a story thats never been told

This plain
Holds many secrets
The landscape
Holds a lot of pain
From a rich history of war & conflict,
this place can rest in peace,
today

From the mountains to the sea
The rivers, the hills and all that’s in between,
i pray for your peace
i pray for your peace

This world
has so much beauty
this domain
has seen enough of the same
its time to learn from mistakes and look forward
& understand, nurturing the land,
zero some gain

These people
have come so far
the strength in spirit
knows no bounds, thats who we are.
not knowing their past,
climbing and seeking
covering so much ground

From the mountains to the sea
The rivers, the hills and all that’s in between,
i pray for your peace
i pray for your peace
