Come check out my piece inspired by my moms year round virgen de Guadalupe altar in her home.

She lights candles for loved ones that have passed.
On their birthdays
And on dia de los muertos

It’s a year round effort to keep their memory alive.

The flowers were inspired by my sisters memory of her and our mom making them out of paper to decorate for dia de los muerto.

When I think of my mothers home
It feels like peace
Acceptance
A sanctuary
Love

Greater than
what any church
or religion
of the man made world
has to offer.

My mother’s love is gods love working through her.
