Introducing Frank Vickers. Aka Franky boy. Aka Big Frank. Aka Cranky Franky.

Possibly the most judgemental, grumpy man at my house. Considering there are a lot of men in this house, that’s a real accomplishment. by @samantha_vickers

I know better now. by @samantha_vickers

I’ve had a ton of people messaging me asking what I’m doing and I’m not gatekeeping, so here you go.

Right around the time I took that second photo in 2023, my doctor prescribed me a GLP-1 to try to lose weight, help with my inflammation, and even out my gut issues.

I lost some weight, my inflammation started getting a little better, and my gut issues got A LOT better. Yay for not almost shitting my pants daily 👏🏻

Then, September of 2023 I started personal training with Deanna.

I’m not going to lie, I half assed a lot of it for the first year or so. I had no strength, my inflammation was still making a lot of things painful and difficult, and instead of working on my nutrition I just wasn’t really eating.

Needless to say, I gained a good bit back.

In the past year I have slowly started to actually put in the work rather than letting meds do the heavy lifting.

I personal train with her 2 days a week and try to do class 5 days a week. I gave up gluten (somewhat, I still punish myself from time to time) and I try to focus a lot more on meeting my protein goals each day.

I also had a tummy tuck and lipo to get rid of the parting gifts my children left me. Seriously one of the best decisions I’ve made. No regrets.

Just know that where I am now would not have even been remotely possible without Deanna Hayes Brown, TRIBE Fitness, and Dr. Koehler at Eastern Shore Cosmetic Surgery 🫶🏻 by @samantha_vickers
